That was the funniest video I've seen all day. As soon as Mad Dog stops running I can just picture you staring at the screen and saying, "Son of a BITCH". |
Those weren't my exact words, but believe me, the language I used makes puppies cry.

Doing better...
I don't think I've played the game this much than when I first got it.

For awhile. I got further than I ever have tonight. Barring blue screen of death computer crashes/device driver problems I'd probably be doing a lot better.

My guess is that he'll force us to play WWF WrestleMania. The challenge would be to actually pin your opponent, which is hard to do.

My vote is for Battletoads. Super hard, unforgiving, and of course the challenge will be some impossible task.

Is this the story of my life or what? I'm doing a Contra run, and my cousin calls and asks me if I want to go the casino. Look at the time stamp of this post, he wants to go at 1am. An hour from now. Sure why not. I'm always up for some table gaming Blackjack. I've still got time to win this thing, and plus, I know WAY too many people at our local casino

Good luck with the contra run and the casino.

So this is due Tuesday? I got one more night to get someplace in this...
Is there a time deadline? Hopefully I'll be sleeping most of Tuesday, and I may not have internet access for my laptop until Tuesday afternoon, so I don't want to miss it.
These open-ended challenges are nice. With the time-attacks, you reach a point where improvement is just frustrating, and you don't feel you can improve much (or that it's worth doing so). When the goal is to see how far you can get, you always feel you can do better.

After playing it so much I can now truthfully say that I am an expert at the game (but not a master). I dont need any power-ups in the game anymore to play good. Also, something I noticed in the game is that if you upgrade your gun, the difficulty increases slightly, what I mean is that if you get a weapon power up, turrents shot faster and bosses shot and move faster. Try it your self and see. Theres also something I noticed is that the more bullets on screen, the less random enemies appear, you can pick up the machine gun at the beginning and hold down fire and chances are that there will be hardly any random enemies appearing. Of course each stage has set enemies that are always there, like the red dudes who aim at you from a standing position.
Anyway, I am raving about crap.
UsaSatsui, there is a time deadline, this challenge ends at 11:59pm on the 6/23 on what ever time zone the date is in.

You know you can't pick up the Machine Gun right? Anyway, yeah I've noticed slight differences too. I finally got past a section that was driving me nuts for my own closure. Hopefully it'll be one of Douche's posted runs.

Well, I just turned in a shitty attempt. The thing that sucks is that I have all the time in the world. But the time isn't constant. So when I have free time, I try to work on these challenges. But its hard for me to sit down for any length of time without interruption. I was able to get it done the first week. Ever since, I can't seem to sit down and really play. It really sucked this week because Contra is one of my all time favorite games. Oh well. What can you do?

Question
Is there a way I can split a video in Windows Movie Maker without cutting frames? It seems that whenever I import a video, it cuts out a fraction of the frames. It's not that big of a deal, but it's still kind of annoying.

Douche said he'd rather you send him the emulator's movie file (as opposed to an avi or whatever) if you can anyway.
as far as splitting with movie maker, I have no idea.

Well Douche will upload it when his verification process leads him to the conclusion everybody knew all along: That you are a robot and won easily.

From Syd's twisted black heart...
Beat Super Mario Bros. 1, collecting as few coins as possible.
In the event of a tie, fastest time will be the tiebreaker.
When sending in your video file please remember to put your name and emulator used in the file name. Also if you could from now on, send me the file you used to play the challenge that would be greatly appreciated. As always good luck and beat Not Sure.
