Sure, there were the resultant deaths, the Patriot Act, the second Gulf War and so forth, but don't we each have more? It could seem like small potatoes to everyone else, or it could be something just about everyone else agrees with.
I don't know which of the two mine is, but I blame 9/11 for 4KIDS Entertainment monopolizing what little children's programming remains on Fox. You guys?

I blame 9/11 for delaying the release of Collateral Damage and severely hurting its chances at the box office.

Oh please, that movie never had a chance. If anything 9/11 offered it an excuse.

Because of 9/11, Pantera left their current tour and took a break while Phil Anselmo occupied his time in just about every side project he could get in. Two years later, they officially announced their breakup. A year later, Dimebag Darrell was tragically murdered. One could make the argument that 9/11, through a bizarre turn of events, caused Pantera's downfall. Had the tour not been cut short, the band would have been more focused, likely released an album, and never broken up. Dimebag would likely been alive, and Pantera would still reign as the juggernauts of metal that they were.
Maybe I spend too much time on Wikipedia...

I blame 9/11 for ruining my birthday every single year post-2001. It's funny, my and my best friend's birthdays are on September 11. Sucks for us.

I blame 911 for turning usually reasonably intelligent citizens into mooing livestock that bury their heads in the sand and accept whatever their told.

I personally blame the destruction of the World Trade Center on 9/11.
Hmmm, maybe that one's just a tad bit too obvious.

Has anyone seen Loose Change's documentary on the whole thing? I suggest watching it, it really makes you think about the whole thing a lot deeper.

Until you read Popular Mechanics 's debunking of pretty much the entire thing as bullshit.

Thinking deeper does not = postulating more accurately.

And in response to the original question:
I blame 9/11 for missing three games of my hockey season in 2001. Some of my hockey buddies went up there to help move debris into Jersey and I sliced my hand on concrete somehow.

Analog TV is going the way of the dinosaur right? What kind of equipment would someone need to run a pirate cable station that could get picked up by the soon to be obsolete bunny ears? |

				On topic.
I blame 9/11 for the fact that I have to walk through airport security barefoot. I also blame 9/11 for the fact that even though I can go through the metal detector without a problem, if I'm wearing a hoodie, the airport security feel the need to do a full body check on me. :/

I don't care if it is inaccurate, that doc is a freakin' scary good time. It was scariest film I saw last year.

I blame 9/11 for the deletion of the awesome Spider-Man teaser from existence. But mostly for the edits to MGS2 such as Solidus being covered with the American flag... and Arsenal Gear crashing into New York killing thousands and destroying the Statue of Liberty.

I blame 9/11 for gas prices, Rosie O' Donnel, SSBB delays, the cancellation of Viva Laughlin, Chris Benoit, AIDs, and my stubbed toe. Also Shaq.
