I'm thinking me lip-synching to 'Riders on the Storm' with stupid effects going on.
Ross have you done this before? Because this is the best suggestion so far.
In a separate addition I think an 80's montage is needed. With a dancing robot twirling a hula hoop.

They already did it, Chapelle and Jim Breur were in it I think.
That would be "Half Baked", but it wasn't a parody (at least, I don't think it was).
In fact, if "Pot Movie" came out, I think it would parody "Half Baked" most of all, aside from Harold and Kumar.
Pot movie would two hours of a bunch of stoned idiots sitting on the couch watch Wondershowzen and delegating the task of going to 7-11 to get coke flavored slurpies and ju ju fish to the youngest / newest member of the group.
that is such a stereotype.

Yeah that is a stereotype, but it is usually true. I don't buy coke slurpeez though I by banana but they never have them, so I end up buying something retarded like gumiworms.
How about a movie where stoners try to cross the road it'll be longer than you think, trust me
I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.
Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

I hate it when stoners end every sentence with "man".

This thread gave me a pretty fun idea anyone with a camera could do.
Get a bunch of people in on it and draw straws to see who starts shooting the movie, whatever you want the story to be.
Then you shoot a 5 minute scene, and the next person in line continues the movie where you left off (and so on and so forth) with the same characters.
I think that would/could be really funny.
Even digital camera's nowadays have a camcorder feature. (Plus it would give me a reason to get a Camcorder)

The question is, how do we get everyone together for the drawing of the straws?

I'm not sure if it is pretentious, but it sure as hell is stupid.

Well.. as lacking as it is, for a movie that has failure as its measurement of success, does that mean that this clip succeeds?

When I posted that, your video wasn't working at all. That's what I meant by 'it failed'.
Although, you do raise a good point. This video succeeds at failing. Good job! Here's a gold star.

I once made a video of myself playing Guitar Hero while wearing a ski mask. The video is almost a year old, but I don't think it's too late to use for the project! Here is my contribution.
P.S. I've lost weight since that video was made.

That's good, because almost nothing is as pretentious as Guitar Hero nowadays!
I once played "Cliffs of Dover" at a GH3 display a couple months ago at Best Buy and these kids started clapping for me afterwards. I thought it was nice, but I also felt awkward for receiving applause because I was playing a video game.

Everytime I play Guitar Hero in a store, all the workers look at me like I'm a dumbass. They have expressions on their faces like, "Your playing Guitar Hero? How childish".

You will get bonus points if you go into a Best Buy that has a demo and rock out with a mask there.
Additional bonus points if you get someone in the video camera section to use one of the store's camcorders to take the video.
