Mine was 2005. I and other consumers got cheated out of the GBA version of Mega Man Anniversary Collection, my best friend of very nearly a decade at the time moved to Calgary, I got sent to this hole of a camp for people with mental disorders, and several other things I'd really rather not mention. You guys?

1992.

My NES died, Isaac Asimov died, Miley Cyrus was born, I was forced to give up having my own bedroom for the next 7 years, and crappy ass Nirvana expunged the airwaves of most of my favorite bands.

Did you fix your NES, or did you get rid of it?

Anyway, my worst year would have to be 2008 so far, It's been pretty uneventful.

2003
Just because I could have been shot, and those fuckers were lucky that they had guns or I would have stabbed one of them in the throat.

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.

Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

Either 2001 or 2003.

in 2001, I was swindled numerous times on Ebay, but the biggest one was when I paid 175 dollars for what amounted to OUT OF BOX STAR TREK MICRO MACHINES. I was so pissed, the guy photographed and described them to be about 8" by 11".

What made it worse, was that they arrived on 9/11. Also, on 9/11, a girl whom I had been courting left me and told me she was getting a restraining order against me (it wasnt that bad, and it never happened). Severely ironically, about a year ago, she got drunk and got on a ATV in January with her then boyfriend and they pulled a Sonny Bono.

I guess 2003 wasnt as bad, but I am a huge Detroit Tigers fan, and I never jumped off of the bandwagon. I also was having difficult times with women. But I think 01 was worse for me.

1998. My dad died exactly 2 weeks before my 16th Birthday. My parents were divorced, so I only got to see him about every other weekend. When I turned 16, I would've been able to drive myself to see him.

Another bad one: 2001 (End of senior year in High school): I didn't graduate on time because I got EXTREME senioritis and had to go to summer school. I haven't had a summer off from school since (I'm working on my Ph.D. at the moment: hopefully I'll finish soon) .

2006/2007 (Senior Year)

My dad, who had had a heart attack a decade before, was experiencing some cardiac episodes, and it basically came down to 'you could die at any moment'. I don't I, or my family as a whole, have been so stressed in our lives. I was afraid to answer the phone or come home because of what I might hear. I almost lost friends because I was a totally different person.

My dad ended up getting better and I ended up graduating (though prom was an epic shit storm of suck for the most part), which was great. Summer kinda sucked, I worked graveyard alone for most of it. Started University which was wicked, but also entered, and exited, my much spoken-of relationship with 'Psycho Ex-Girlfriend'.

So it was up and down, but the lows were very, very low that year.

I'd have to say that 2004 was the worst for me. I was in middle school getting the shit tortured out of me by idiots, and I had about zero self esteem. And I was shot down on my first time asking a girl out who was my friend, and then she went all batshit and goth. But, I worked it out, punched a kid at the end of the year and gained some respect, and stopped caring what people thought of me.

I haven't really had any absolutely horrible experiences, but as for the worst times of my life would be the days my grandfather and grandmother died, about two years apart, of I can recall. My dog dying last year also sucked. I haven't really had anything other than that, most of my life's pretty happy. I might get shot down by every girl I ask out, but that doesn't bother me anymore. I am a content man.

It would be 2002-2003 (7th Grade). I was the laughingstock of my entire school, I got teased everywhere I went, and I was blamed for things that other people did.

thank god I moved out that neighborhood.

I have a friend that is a teacher and refuses to teach jr high. What is it with kids that age? they're all a bunch of worthless pukes, and there is this weird pack mentality. Jr high was stupid. I guess it's probably puberty and whatnot.

As far as worst year? probably 2006, lost my grandfather (death) and lost my gf of 7 years (breakup). Although the split was for the best, it still hurt really bad. But the end of the year, I got my current job, and i love it, so it kind of helped ease my pain a bit.

In my jr. high, the only thing I really hated was the jackass 8th grade teachers. They treated everybody like crap, I guess they thought they were cool because they didn't have to teach the 7th graders.

I don't know, I've had some pretty shitty years but for no discernable reason.

The worst thing I can remember that someone can relate to was last year. In the summer i was to start a new job but my papa(grandpa) died so i missed a day of work, went to work, then school so within 2 weeks my grandpa died, had to start my first job wich kinda sucked and then school.

I've had worse overall years, but it's not really easy for anyone to relate to it.

Please tell me your joking in attibuting this to the things that made it the worste year of your life. Thats a joke right?

In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo!
