Did any of you catch the new Hulk movie? This one was very good.
SPOILER ALERT
I like how Iron Man appeared at the end.

I just saw it and it was most definitly better then that other Hulk movie (you know the one i'm talking about) it had everything the other movie lacked. And i liked how the new hulk movie refused to recognize the other hulk movie.
I have to say, iron man and the new hulk movie have sweeten the bitter taste comic book movies have been give me. Only one thing disappointed me:
Banner was too late to see the Brazilian hotty naked
*spoiler*
I got Samuel Sterns confused with Doc Samson. It wasn't until his brain swell up that i realized he was the Leader. And General Thunderbolt was never referred to as Thunderbolt. Considering that the Hulk uses his tride and true attacks (atomic slap and iron fist) i can overlook that. And iron man showing up was cool, i can only hope the hulk is the one to invite wolverine to the avengers, after they have an epic fight of course.

i doubt tehy'll go with the new avengers (iron man, spidey, luke cage, cap, wolverine). we'll probably see the original team of thor, iron man, hulk, cap, black widow, and hank pym.

The Avengers movie is produced by Marvel Studios, so you just have to look at their IMDb page and see what other movies they have in production to guess who is most likely to appear in the movie.

I saw it this weekend. It was definitely better than the last one. I'm a sucker for cameos and actually having movies be in the "universe", so Tony Stark there was one of my favorite parts

DAMN, that movie was good. Not as good as Iron Man, but I have bias since I like Iron Man better than the Hulk. But I really enjoyed it.

Where the hell is Thor? When I think of the Avengers I usually think of him pretty quickly.

My bad. I only linked to Marvel Studios. There's also Marvel Enterprises. I don't know what exactly the difference between the two is, but Marvel Enterprises produces a Thor movie. So Thor will probably be in the Avengers movie aswell.

Right now the early casting rumors are they want Leo DiCaprio for Captain America, and HHH for Thor. Take those for what they're worth.

I just took a closer look at the upcoming Marvel produced movies and found out that Ant-Man will be directed by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) and Silver Surfer will be directed by Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City). I love Marvel.

I finally saw it today. It was easily better than the first Hulk, but it still had issues with the Bruce Banner character IMO.
However, Tim Roth = freakin' awesome. I wanna see him tackle Iron Man.
I kinda wish Sam Elliot had been kept, but since Hurt is better at playing evil, I guess it makes sense.
Abomination has nothing on Cloverfield though.

i enjoyed it a lot.
bruce banner has always been a meek/scared character. scared of turning into the hulk because he cant control it.
so, i think ed norton did a good job in portraying that

Norton was a fine actor as usual, but his character arc felt insipid, slow, and not as motivated as it could've. For all the time and effort they put in it, I feel like it could've been done with either more sympathy, finesse, or dramatic change. The theme of the movie kind of felt like it was about Bruce choosing to rid himself of Hulk rather than learn to control him. By the end of the film:
SPOILERS
I assume he accepts that he needs to control Hulk more than eliminate him. But this revelation is something that was expected more than delivered. I didn't get a sense that's what he decided by the end but it seems implied since he seemed to pull Hulk out of him while meditating. There was nothing there to give him that epiphany. He just decided. Bruce is on a journey in this film, but it feels like he didn't get anywhere. That's why I feel empty with his character.
Abomination had a fine arc and one that actually rivals Bruce's. It was simple, straight forward, but you believe Abomination every step of the way even when it takes the biggest leap toward the end of the film where he hijacks the doctor. His story just cuts off however, but since it wasn't his movie I'm not as let down by it.

thats a good point. there really is no explanation as to why he decided to keep the hulk and not get rid of it. other than the fact that he needed to stop abom

That I understood and felt the line: "we all created this" was a good one for Bruce to say before falling into action. It at least accepts responsibility and doesn't put blame where it's easy to put. I'm not really sure how this is Betsy Ross' fault, but I have no problem blaming her too.
Oh, by the way, I LOVED that the Lonely Man theme made it into this film. ^_^

Ditto, but did they age him back? I met him at Wizard World last year and he looked a hell of a lot older than he did in that film. Movie magic, I guess. But his arms are just as damn impressive as they are in real life!

I liked the Ang Lee movie better. THERE, I FUCKING SAID IT.
I have never been a Hulk fan though. I like the Bruce Banner character, but I just can't relate to him when he's transformed. That makes the action scenes kinda boring; seeing him and Abomination fight doesn't really excite me. It's not nearly as uninteresting for me as seeing Aliens fight Predators (why should I give a fuck about either one?), but I still don't feel involved. Since the Ang Lee movie had more Banner and less Hulk action, it was more to my liking.
Tim Roth was great however.
