It's Friday the 13th today. Anyone have any superstitions? Not me, I usually treat it like another day. Except that it's surrounded by shit like Jason Voorhees and bad luck. Whatever. Post on.

Hey, Black Sabbath's debut was released on Friday the 13th, 1970. Good things can happen on that day after all. Of course, I can't remember anything bad happening to me on Friday the 13th, so I have no beef with the day.

So far so good for me. I just got back from donating plasma and they didn't fuck up my arm for a change. The bad news is that I'll probably miss Blue Oyster Cult at the Fair this year. Oh well, I'm gonna miss Parliament at 10KLF because I can't afford to go. Oh well, life goes on.

Can a "Good Friday" be a Friday the 13th?

As far as I know (read: too lazy to check) Good Friday is the first Friday after a spring full moon. So given that there are 23 days between the first day of spring and April 13th, it's possible.

Friday the 13th has been and will be in June on these years 1980, 1986, 1997, 2003, 2008, 2014, 2025, 2031, 2036, 2042, 2053, 2059, 2064, 2070, 2081, 2087, 2092, 2098

And there is a pattern of years 6,11,6,5,

This is useless information and I only posted it because I was bored.

i had to have 4 pulled. but they gave me pain killers which made me feel real mellow/good. especially drinking and taking those pills. whooo.

You get icecream, or if you are a lactard like me (lactose intolerant) you can have sorbe or something
You get out of any chores you might have needed to do

Shit, what's up with all this wet weather and tornadoes? Well Friday the 13th June 2008 is closing. I survived another one. Actually it turned out to be a good day for me. Wisdom teeth? Hell's yeah, when I got mine pulled they gave me Naproxen and Vicodin. I never even took the vicodin until after they were healed. The naproxen killed the pain for me so I had fun with Vicodin. Not a big fan of the pills actually. They put me to sleep. Kind of made me loopy though. Sorry I'm rambling now. I'll stop here.

I just wanted to add that today is not only Friday the 13th. Its also Jason Vorhees' birthday. The original movie takes place on June 13th.

Lots of thunder and lightning to bad I didn't get struck, it might of been a good reason to believe in superstition.

There was a guy in the town I'm from who was struck by lightning twice. When I say twice, I don't mean at once. I mean on two different occasions. He finally died of old age. Not because he was hit by lightning twice.

I pulled both my arm muscles and had to drive home using only my right arm. Other than that, it wasn't very unlucky, nor did I run into Jason Vorhees.
