I'm talking about the proverbial shit, that is.

We got hit with a super-cell thunderstorm that produced tornadoes in my area around 2:30 or so this morning. There's downed tree limbs everywhere, power is out to some 5,000 people still, and, oh ya, a carwash just down the road from my place had their roof ripped off. Wonder where it went?

Image

It's supposed to be a carwash; they look like little garages connected together with roofs and everything and you pull your car in and wash it n then drive out. The roof is gone, along with part of one of the walls. Shocked

I read in the news that someone else had their neighbor's roof come crashing through their master bathroom.

There's little need for that... that's how I read the subject heading anyway before I went back and double checked after reading the first post.

Freud, you bastard.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

Well I was only asking just so I could get a relative idea of where the tornados actually hit. But that's cool.

Man more storms are the last thing we need. All the highways that lead out of Bloomington are rivers from what I heard.

We heard on the news that they're classifying it as an F2 tornado. We're also having flooding downtown (cause it's still raining, goddammit).

I really wanna move. I'm tired of this weather. T__T

Until people start dying, storms are great, but if you get it all the time I guess it would start too suck

Don't get me wrong, I love rain and storms. Tornadoes and property damage... not so much.

Oh ok, ya, I'm not a fan of Tornados, but thunder/rain/lightning is where it is at.

Yes yes yes. My sister's husband likes to photograph lightening. He's got some really awesome photos sitting around their house.

Lightning is sweet but I don't like thunder.

I'd walk around with a 12 foot metal pole just to prove that I'm not afraid of lightning, or maybe to prove that I'm fucking retarded.

Lightning rules, fuck you thunder!

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.

Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

Delicate is nice. I'm not too fond of the stuff that rattles my windows at 3 in the morning tho. Sad

Just keep an eye on central Kansas if you want to hear about stroms and tornados. Sans the tornados and dangerous winds, I love storms. I love rain, seeing lightening, and listening to thunder and the rain on the roof. But its getting fucking stupid here. We've been in pretty much a constant tornado watch for the last two months. A couple of weeks ago, Greensburg almost ate shit again. Those poor fucks are just now getting their town rebuilt from a couple of years ago.

I wanna move too. I've got less than two months before my wife is up for promotion and able to transfer again to get the hell out of Kansas. I'm sure I'll move back to Missouri. But I'd love to go someplace where natural disasters pose the least threat. I'm trying to think of states I NEVER hear about.
