As much as I hate the GH games, I can't blame them for releasing a shitload of them. I mean, how hard could it be to make a game with colored dots coming at you? They should make a Nirvana edition where after you complete all the songs, your character blows his head off with a shotgun.

R.I.P. Kurt...this is typical, the game is already created all they have to do is change the music selection and boom new game. People will keep buying it so why would they stop. It's not like they dumped a whole lot of money into the game, besides to Arrowsmith and whoever else.
If you own a Wii stay away from Ninjabread man and Anubis. They are the same game with different sprites. BULLSHIT!

Hell no it's a very delicate piece of equipment, capable of creating fun for hours upon hours if alcohol is involved, plus I got the condoms for it so it doesn't slip out of your hands and enter things it shouldn't...I don't even know which Wii I'm talking about anymore...

I'll get back to the topic now. I like the Guitar Hero games to a certain degree; I enjoy the innovative gameplay as well as the selection of classic rock tunes. However, I also agree that they are starting to pump out too many Guitar Hero titles. |

Wii is great, although I probably wouldn't be completely satisfied with it if it were my only gaming system. I could say the same thing about the 360 though. Having a wii and 360 or PS3 is ideal imo. Games like Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Brawl and No More Heroes make the wii too good to pass up.

I've been playing guitar and bass since fifth grade, and I've played in many bands and concerts, yet I still love Rock Band. Let's face it, I'll never play for an arena, nor be able to have a duel with the devil vis a vis the creations of Charlie Daniels.
It's all about living out a fantasy that could be foreign to you. I love hockey, but I'm not going to be launching a slapshot past Martin Brodeur on the ice. I'm interest in firearms, and history, but I'm not going to be fighting Romans with an AK. I understand why people rip on Guitar Hero. There are people who act like tough shit for FCing Slayer but won't touch a guitar because it's somehow beneath them. They're annoying yes, but I like the game because it's helping me realize something that most likely won't come true.

That's the wrong attitude, you might very well one day do some of those things, and for the ones that seem impossible due to time / space factors there's always the time machine to look forward to.
