How do you feel about it? Are you self-conscious?
I just got back from having my picture done for an ID, and the bitch taking the picture wouldn't let up - 'Smile! You have to SMILE!'
I wanted to smack her in the effing face, because I think I look like a total DORK when I smile.

Can't stand pictures, especially when somebody insists that I smile. Not because I'm self-concious, but because I just don't want to be in somebody's picture. I usually ask them why they need a picture of me, to which they respond some bullshit about "memories".
Then I have to point out that they are essentially forging their "memories", since, When was the last time you saw me grinning like some kind of confused idiot other than when something genuinely funny happened? If you need a picture of me, I'll consider it, but if you want a picture of me pretending to do something I wasn't really doing, it bothers me.

I don't take good pictures, but I don't mind them. I hate the forced "pose" ones, though. And the worst part about that is that my mom is one of those people who has to have pictures of damn near everything, so unless I bitch and moan every event where my mom has a camera is peppered with little 5-minute tests of sanity.

My school ID, horrible, my drivers license horrible, normal pictures horrible, I just don't think I'm a Picture taker, that and what Tuck said...If I wanted to smile I would have fucking smiled get off my shit.

oh there was a whole day behind it. there was a THI article about it, but it got lost in the shuffle.
basically I cut work and won a DDR tournament, and that was the prize. the best part about it was that I won in a weird way.

I'm really very non-photogenic, so pictures taken by other people (and my mother, who feels the need to have photographic documentation of every fucking event that happens in our lives) on the spur of the moment all make me look horrid.
However, I DO have no problem when people command me to "SMILE!" for a picture, just because I have one of those smiles that takes over your whole face... so even if I only kinda half-fake smile, it still looks damn convinicing in the picture. Besides, I was probably smiling already. Unless it was at a funeral or something.

i dont believe im photogenic, so i dont like taking pictures. i'd rather rely on my own memory for those 'special events.' bad thing is, im not a good photographer, so im basically useless when picture taking situations arise.
