Syd, if I may be so bold, you are exempt from this thread for obvious reasons.
Mine's Tim Curry. He was my inspiration to become a voice actor and I do a fairly good imitation of his voice. Yours?

My favorite has to be Edward Norton, and I also like Kevin Spacey a lot. Jack Nicholson is obviously up there as well as a number of others but those are tops for me I think.

My favorite actors would have to be Christopher "Doc Brown" Lloyd and the late James "Ernest P. Worrell" Varney and Christoper Walken.
Favorite actresses . . . oh boy that's a long list. Pretty much any hot brunette, ex Anne Hathaway.

I feel it necessary to point out that when I say "actors", it encompasses both genders.

Chevy Chase. The Vacation movies, Fletch movies, Funny Farm, Seems Like Old Times, Spies Like Us, Three Amigos, etc are all just too funny.

Sean Connery.
For me, the sign of a great actor is one who makes even the crappiest movies bearable when they're on screen. Example: Connery in Highlander 2: The Quickening.

I think the measure of a good actor is that they make you want to hang out with their character.
In that case, I want to add Katherine Heigl to my list, particularly for her Isobel Stevens character from Grey's Anatomy, whom I would like to marry.

Bonus points for Michael Biehn and Michael Keaton.
Kurt Russell, William Shatner, Christopher Reeves, Robin Williams (in serious roles, he hasnt had that many good comedies, but I really enjoyed Patch Adams), Harrison Ford, there are others too, but I cannot remember more at this time. Oh, Ricardo Montalban. Plus the two guys I mentioned above.

On actresses I have LOTS of girls I like, few I'll follow everything they do and put out.
I have huge picture folders of actresses, which I filled the majority from here:
http://forums.superiorpics.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?Cat=0
Too many girls to name, but Kristin Kreuk and Sophia Bush are probably #1 and #2 for me, and a handful of actors I like and follow.
Johnny Depp
Mark Wahlberg

I agree with you, but Izzy is a whore! Sleeping with a married man, wtf...
Johnny Depp is awesome, Bruce Campbell has a special place in my heart ("Thiiiiis.... is my BOOMSTICK!"). Angelina Jolie is odd enough in reality to be cool, and I think all her volunteer efforts are amazing. I liked her acting as Lara Croft, I just wish she'd been handed better scripts to work with. :/

Vincent D'Onofrio. He's a chameleon. I remember a few years back when I found out he was Thor in adventures in babysitting, I didn't believe it.
On the opposite end, I like Norm MacDonald. His acting is so terrible, it's hilarious.

No love for Robert De Niro? Fucking Godfather Part II? He has too many good movies to list on one page. If I listed them all it would crash the forum.
I also want to give some dap to John Ritter.
And...
Even though 95% of the world seems to hate him, nobody can play the self-indulging, egotistical, self-serving part like Jim Belushi. I love him in Gang Related, and in my all time favorite movie Real Men (also starring John Ritter). And even though According to Jim is far from the best of its kind, he does play the part. He will go to any lengths necessary to cover his own ass.
