Yes, indeed.
Oh, you know what else pissed me off? In Earthworm Jim 2 that level where he is on his little speeder thing and you have to take the exploding baloon to the end of the level. I fucking hate that level.

In Fable, I hated the one sewer boss after breaking out of prison. It wasn't hard in any sense, it was the fact that your mother was screaming the whole time while you had to protect her. Problem was that she sounded like a banshee having an orgasm, she made the noise every 10 seconds, and the boss battle lasted FOREVER. After about 10 minutes of listening to it in the other room, my sister just ran in and yelled, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?!"

At the end of Beyond Good and Evil when you have to
SPOILERS
fight the boss with the controls reversed. Clever idea but it just doesn't work mid-final boss fight. I had to turn the fucking controller upside down.

Trying to play an NES game that just won't come clean all the way so it's glitchy.

Oh, oh, I have a new one! Yay! Well, no, forget the yay.
On Secret of Mana(which I'm trying to beat), the first time you get to the tree palace(when it rises out of the ocean then sinks to the ground when you get through). That was the very first place in this game that actually came close to defeating me. Oh, the mental anguish I endured! It all happened today; I played the game from 1 p.m. to 5, then decided just one more quest before I quit, and went to the tree palace. Two hours, NO FUCKING SAVE POINTS, and strings of inward swearing later, I have no idea how I managed to get through that place. The dark stalker ninja baddies were the worst; they're the coolest looking enemies in the game, but also the hardest thus far. Certain moves of theirs did over 100 damage. My trio had over 450 hp each, and getting through them cost me a water of wishes. Sure, it's my first time trying to beat that game, but that place damn near ass-raped me!
Ugh, it almost made me want to try that god-forsaken LoZ Sydlexia challenge again.

I hate that water tube level where you have to navigate that stupid glass bubble ship to the next airlock. But I think that might be Earthworm Jim 1.

As a kid, level 7-4 in Super Mario Bros. I remember the first time playing that area, I had no idea that there was a maze. Running the same path over and over with time running out really sucked. My parents watched me one time, and my mom was like "Maybe you can break through the wall?". Didn't help either.
And even though I can pass the area, I always hated the underwater level in TMNT.

The 2nd block-hitting sequence in 5-1 of Super Paper Mario where you've got to hit 3 blocks in a specific, 20-something long sequence to make a pipe rise and continue on through the level.

Yeah. Anyway, the ending to Sly 3 was horrible, as you have so many loose ends, that if loose ends were money then you'd be rich. Also, there's a certain famous N64 cartridege with a certain green-garbed elf and a certain water based level, of temple like preportions. this level, though partially erased from my mind by therapy, took me 2 YEARS TO COMPLETE.

When OoT time first came out and I got to the water level, I thought I was irreversibly stuck and restarted the whole game.

i dont understand how that water temple was hard. i had some trouble when i got the game, but nothing to the point it frustrated me. the puzzles were a little different and illogical even, but nothing that would melt your brain.

Oddly enough, A few years later I beat it in 2 hours. Morpha's throw attack still sucks though. especially when you land in water and can't climb out.

If your in Stage 7 I need to see a video of this, as far as I knew there are only 6 stages, simply amazing! But yes I agree, atleast you could eventually jump/climb up steps.

When i replayed OoT again, nothing really gave me as much trouble as it once did, despite not remembering the puzzles.
