I just got done watching these videos on youtube of this one game reviewer, Cloud (he's more of a comedian) doing a walkthrough of FFX praticly in full. Close to 93 videos of him playing through FFX including his commentary, which is funny. It is without a doubt the longest playlist i ever watch. EVER!

I've never played any FF game but i have to say it seems kind of complicated. I'm not much of an RPG gamer (I played paper mario), i'm mostly into balls-to-da-walls FPS. I was wondering what some people thought of his game play, he seems like he knows what he's doing.
I would also like to discuss the story (which reminded me of the matrix), characters (Auron's the most badass of all) and sad ending (WTF even happened). But the one thing i can say from watching those videos is Yuna's voice actor sucks. It was the worst voice acting i've heard in a long time. Most of the voice acting in FFX wasn't really too bad but Yuna's stood out as terrible, Auron's voice actor was good though.
And Cloud mention this one sequel, FFX2. Is that by any chance as good as the first, Cloud seemed to down it alot.

This game was such a chore for me to play through, so much so that I never bothered with any of the subsequent titles.
I fuckin hate the sphere grid and blitz ball so much!

I never played FF either but i saw my old roommate play FFX-2 and it was just too annoying. too much girl power and just too silly for my tastes.

most of the FF games are different enough in some aspect or another that playing one and not liking it isn't a valid reason to condemn the entire series.

I just make it easier on myself and like them all, except the GBA ones, fuck judges and laws.
