If that was Cobra he looks like Ming The Merciless and Darth Vader had a bastard child together. Which actually is pretty 80s-tastically awesome.

My beef with the costumes is that each Joe was unique and individual. These new costumes look like bland Matrix rejects. Im just afraid that sorta blend effect will happen to the characters themselves too.

Code Geass is awesome (a mecha anime that references the Chinese occupation of Japan but in the anime it's the Britannia Empire occupying Japan).
On topic: I agree that the presence of true uniforms (the same basic outfit) works, but it also detracts from the characters we've all grown up with.

good point, but im actually more worried they'll mess up the characters personalities from what we've all grown accustomed to.

Know what costume really sucks? Hancock's!
That seems to be the costume trend in Hollywood...

thats what i mean though. take away the weird crazy cartoon outfits and you take way from the characters themselves.

The Rock is indeed Shipwreck from all the info I have. Also, I do miss the individual uniforms, but they did that to sell toys, in an army there can be differences, but not a mish mash of whatever the hell they felt like wearing. I mean a great example is Bazooka. He has the army issue camo pants and boots, but then is wearing a bright red football jersey, come on, you could have picked him off at 2 miles. I do hope this goes well, I am a HUGE GI JOE fan, and would not want to be disappointed. Also, destro better damn well wear the mask, silver or gold, or I will be severly pissed.
