I find that most NES games, when compared to their recent versions, seem ass-rapingly difficult.

I read the top 100 list, and I've stopped playing Castlevania since before Symphony of the Night(could have bought it for $50 though), but my favorite is Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest.

Bloody Tears, forward and backward movement, weapon upgrades, a virtual 2D world. The game was far ahead of it's time.

Is Harmony of Dissonance worth getting for the GBA? It's the only one that I know a local game store has and I wanted to get a GBA one.

I agree. Simon's Quest is basically the progenitor of any of the new ones, with all its rpg makings. Good stuff.
