All ds games should have mandatory vs wifi modes, anything less is a waste

Or a co-op mode. But only if it makes sense. There's no reason to tack a wi-fi mode onto Final Fantasy or Castlevania.

That Final Fantasy Crystal chronicles for ds just released was begging for wifi, in fact most of the complaints I read about it were because of a lack of wifi.
And didn't the last DS castlevania have co-op boss rush over wifi? That seems pretty cool, if they had just made the whole game playable like that.

Crystal Chronicles definitely needs wi-fi. Other FF games, not so much.
A fully co-up DS Castlevania would be really hard to pull off. The games are too non-linear for that to really work. There'd be constant fights over which directly to go in. Also, grinding for souls is a large part of those games, and that doesn't work so well with two player.

Do we really need to shit on StompStomp over everything he says? His point is largely true; companies don't utilize the DS wi-fi as much as they should.

I heard that the "Brawlers" part is due to the fact that there's a mode where you can cross the center line and fight ala River City Ransom, which is something I like very much.
