I've been hearing a lot about this game the last few days and well...it looks fuckin badass. This is exactly what the wii needed.
Also SEGA is only publishing it. It's actually being developed by Platinum Games (ex CAPCOM Clover Studios)
They're also working on another game called Bayonetta for 360/PS3 which also looks fuckin awesome. It's by the same creator of Devil May Cry, Okami and Viewtiful Joe. Here's the trailer:

That looks pretty cool.
And unless it's a fighting game, I'm sure you fight more than one enemy at a time. They just chose to show one on one fights so they could showcase the graphic violence better.
But it's a shame that they chose to name the game after a massively overplayed cover of a Tears for Fears song.
those two videos tell me NOTHING about either of those games

I read the full press release, so I can tell you.
Bayonetta is essentially a new take on the DMC formula from the DMC creators. You play as a witch named Bayonetta and you hunt angels. Supposedly you're going to get to use some cool witch powers in addition to guns.
MadWorld is a comically violent game that is part Dead Rising, part Sin City, and part Running Man. Also, the MadWorld video shows actual gameplay, so at least tells you something about the game.
Also, I don't know if it's due to the name, the colors or the fact the logo uses a chainsaw, but I can't help but think of "Gears of War" when I see it:
