From the 8-bit: The Blue Bomber's third adventure that introduced Rush and Protoman and saw the semi-return of the Robot Masters from the previous game.

From the 16-bit: A platforming epic that served as the console's flagship launch title, introducing Yoshi and featuring a plethora of secret exits.

This is the second consecutive poll that pits a Mega Man game against a Mario game. Coincidentally, it's also the eleventh and final poll involving the former. Incidentally, Super Mario World was the first game I ever beat, though I was riding my brother's coattails at the time.

Mega Man 3 was a fantastic game, but SMW was just superior.

And it's Super Mario World for the win. In all honesty, I at least expected a repeat of the last poll. As far as the Mega Man games go, the losses now officially outnumber the wins and ties individually, but not together.
