heath rowell: You know who Factor 5 is?
aJewThatCanFly: probably
heath rowell: They made Rogue Squadron 1, 2, and 3. Then they wanted to make a Wii game, but Nintendo was being secretive about the Wii and wouldn't let them, so they started working on a PS3 game called Lair.
heath rowell: Which no one liked cause it was on PS3, LOL.
heath rowell: Anyways, now they've begun working on a Wii game, but its not a continuation of the Rogue Squadron series.
aJewThatCanFly: oh, so the guys that made all those games that I hate
heath rowell: YOU HATEZ ROGUE SQUADRON?
heath rowell: ::dies::
heath rowell: Anyways, concept art for their new game has been leaked. It is, apparently, Kid Icarus.
aJewThatCanFly: rumors are awesome
heath rowell: With one important difference - in the concept art, he's no longer a kid.
aJewThatCanFly: i bet tehy'll make it rouge squadron, but you fly behind bit and shoot arrows and dogfight with other winged dudes
heath rowell: That's exactly what they're going to do.
heath rowell: LOL
heath rowell: Way when they first started talking about the game, and no one knew it was Kid Icarus, the president of the company said that the game engine could "already do everything Lair's engine could do and more."
aJewThatCanFly: "well, we lost the star wars liscense. lets repalce all the x wings with dragons."
aJewThatCanFly: "scrap those dragons, get us a nintendo character who can fly"
heath rowell: The thing is, people WOULD be complaining, if they hadn't realized that Factor 5 seems to ONLY be able to make flying games.
heath rowell: They tried an onfoot game in Rogue Squadron 3. It was horrible. In fact, people seem to agree that the game feels like its split in half between Badass flying missions, and shitty onfoot ones.
heath rowell: So that's why no ones complaining.
heath rowell: LOL
aJewThatCanFly: it would be cool if the at least mixed up the flying a bit
heath rowell: How so?
aJewThatCanFly: every game is pretty much just star wars arcade fro mthe 32x
aJewThatCanFly: no joke
aJewThatCanFly: its like they make the same game and jsut add things
heath rowell: Factor 5 is essentially Nintendo's "Epic". They're 100% about advancing the graphics of a game, and not really innovative as far as gameplay is concerned.
heath rowell: So it kinda sucks for them that Nintendo's new system is so anti-Factor 5.
