I own both a 360 and a wii, and imo the wii has a lot more quality games than the 360. There are only 2 games I've played on the 360 that truly made me happy to own the system: GTA IV and Bioshock (aka the game that made me not regret buying a 360). While both are amazing games, neither is even exclusive to the console. I also own Gears of War and Mass Effect, 2 games which were hugely hyped up, but really I wasn't too impressed with either. In all honesty, I'm not a fan of FPS and that's what 90% of the so called "must haves" on the 360 are. I'm never going to buy a game like Halo or Call of Duty because to me these games are all exactly the same, just different environments, weapons, and gimmicks that set them apart from each other.

Is 9 fantastic games really not enough for you? Also notice the variety there. You got RPG, adventure, platforming, strategy, fighting, racing and shooting. I'd like to see someone come up with 9 games of that caliber for 360 that doesn't include more than a couple FPS. The PS3 situation is even worse, I can't think of one exclusive game it has that I actually want to play, at least not until MGS4 and God of War 3 come out. The latter probably won't even happen for at least another full year. As far as current gen is concerned, I think wii is the clear front runner so far in terms of games. Prove me wrong if you think otherwise.

So I realized my last post sounded entirely fanboyish of nintendo, but in my defense I've owned a dreamcast, ps2, xbox, 360 and never a gamecube. I don't consider myself loyal to any one company, I just buy whichever console has the games I want to play. The point that I was trying to make was that at this early stage, none of the current gen consoles have an abundance of great games.

I'll agree with that. I like how all the XBLA games are in HD and have online multiplayer capabilities. That is a big plus over their VC counterparts, but at the same time, Xbox live is a subscription service whereas nintendo's wifi is free, so I suppose that would help explain the difference. I personally think that it's bullshit having to pay an additional fee (especially when its the same as the full retail price of a game) to play games you already paid good money for online so I appreciate that nintendo's option is free, even though the quality isn't as good overall.
