From the 8-bit: A graphically downgraded, but otherwise faihful port of a much-beloved puzzle action game with essential two-player co-op action.

From the 16-bit: A globetrotting, time-traveling epic that gives players the opportunity to make everything right with the world forever.

Syd, you are either going to really love or really hate the outcome of this one. Incidentally, this is where I would've put Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project had it made the first list. No offense, Syd.

I love Bubble Bobble, but this is no contest for me. I can say with confidence that Chrono Trigger is the best RPG experience I've ever had, and one of my favorite video games of all time. Everything about this game is top notch: characters, music, storyline, presentation, time traveling, dual/triple techs, multiple endings, replay value. I love the fact that you can start a new game with all your stats and items carried over. I go back and play through this game again every couple of years and it's always just as fun as I remembered. Fuck what they say about FFVII, this is the real Square masterpiece as far as I'm concerned.

Back in fourth grade Bubble Bobble music entered my brain. It has always remained there. I started to go insane, but after a while it became the white noise.

I fear the day that I lose it and have to start listening to the world around me again.

And it's Chrono Trigger for the win. Syd, you must be pissed.

Eh, not especially. While I do love NES Bubble Bobble, it's not the best version of the game. And I do love Chrono Trigger greatly as well.

I would've voted for Bubble Bobble had I been paying attention to the latest poll. Not like it especially mattered here.
