For Dreamcast, this survival horror game takes a few pages from Resident Evil's book, but the catalyst is a force of nature rather than a man-made virus.

BLue Stinger was a survival horror game, and the catalyst was a metorite, which I would consider to be a force of nature. So, I don't see anything wrong with my logical guess.
Next guess: Carrier

It was for the Turbo-Grafx 16.
It was a lot like Gauntlet, except 5 people could play together, and there were way more classes then just 3 to pick from. And the last boss was Satan.

Oh, wow. For some reason I thought Knyte was still talking about Carrier, the last guess. "Huh, they turned Gauntlet into a survival horror game? How'd that work?"

This was a game for the SNES:
You are figthing over a fictional island, and wage war with knights, dragons, wizards, and such. It was a strategy, turn based game.

I really love that game a whole lot, as you may or may not know from reading my old articles.
Anyway, despite the whining last time, I'm dipping back into the C64 pool.
I remember travelling to various places in the world (and elsewhere) on my quest to thwart the plans of aliens who hoped to take over humanity by making everyone stupid by way of controlling the phone company.
I could into so much more detail about it, such as selling a bent butterknife as a rare artifact, but I don't want to make it any easier.

Okay, I'll stick with the Commodore theme:

Is that a play on words meaning like Jordan vs. Bird and you could shit on people with Larry? Otherwise I have no fucking clue. Commodore 64 ones are too ridiculous.

For some reason, when you say bird game where you crap on people, I just think of John Kricfalusi re-making Kolibri
