I think the fact that Apple only has about a 6% market share in PCs speaks for itself

I'm not sure what you mean by clicking. If you mean an actual clicking sound that occurs with some sort of regularity, then no, the drive isn't clicking. But the BIOS can't find it at startup. To the best of my knowledge the files aren't deleted, but since my computer won't read the drive, I have no way of knowing.

so my IE cant handle popups. what i mean, whenever i click a link on here or any other website where the link would automatically show up in a new window (or tab), the new page wont load. i have to physically move the cursor to the address bar and highlight the address and then hit enter on my keyboard to load the page. thats the only way it will load, otherwise it'll just stay blank forever.
i have ran all my virus protection crap on my PC and im too lazy to learn a new browser, since i already know all the hotkeys on IE and im used to that interface. anyone know what i can do to fix this problem?
i already downloaded the latest version of IE but it still isnt working. this normally wouldnt bother me too much, but on pages like the Best Buy page, i cant look up my credit card account since the window that pops up doesnt have an address bar.

i'll give that a shot when i get home from work. thanks
EDIT: nah. holding CTRL didnt help. i normally just click the mouse wheel button and it'll automatically open up a new tab, but neither one works.
