I have 3 Wii games and about 15 VC games and I still have over 1000 blocks of space left. Either I don't have enough Wii games, or your Wii sucks. Ass. |
Are your VC games all NES games? Also, did you DL any of the extra channels? |

Just a channel that lets you vote on things like..."Would you rather be able to go back in time or into the future?" You pick one of those and then you can see if you picked the most popular one and shit. I have the Check mii out channel, internet channel, voting channel, and whatever else there is and I still have like 1400 blocks. Granted I don't have any real games on my VC just Mario 64 and Donkey Jr. Math...*SHAKES FIST*

On my N64 emulator...I tried to play Star Fox but I can't do any of the maneuvers. Do you know how hard it is to fight Star Wolf when you can't U-turn? It can't be done. |
Whenever I emulate Starfox, I use the mouse for movement. Better than the keyboard, in my opinion.

Speaking of controller adapters, Murdar, do you have one yet? |
Between saving money for a big move, Radio Shack being fucking assholes that don't have them, and not having a reliable mailing address (stupid post office stopped sending me mail, assholes steal UPS shit from the lobby routinely, case in point my friend's bike got stolen from inside a SECURE ACCESS BUILDING, let alone the fact that it was on the third floor and inside a locked area, or the delivery guys simply leave packages outdoors right off a busy street where tons of losers walk by), I haven't had the chance.
But that's okay, the Kaillera master server is being a fuckballs right now anyway.

I hadn't been for a while because apparently I DON'T LIVE HERE. I had someone else's name on my mailbox since I moved in, the management didn't do shit. I told the people at the post office to get their shit straight, or else I'd get my foot straight up their ass

I've been having a simmilar problem, and to top it off it looks like about 37 people live at my house, Iget new mail for someone i've never heard every fucking day. Plus the postman is a dick, he whines because my mailbox is notmassive enough to contain all the junk mail he is required to stuff in my box every day, his solution was to THROW MY MAIL IN THE YARD I hope that prick gets bit by rabid dog.

Dammit, I should've thought of that one when I had to go to the apartment office several times because they couldn't get my name and information right. I didn't think it was that hard to change a first name on your magical records, but it sure was for them.
Back on topic (sort of), the big problem I have with the virtual console is that most of the games I have any interest in playing, I've already emulated. The only exception so far is N64 games I've never owned myself (since my N64 still works and is still hooked up, I really don't see the need to buy Ocarina of Time or Mario 64 again) and this one TurboGrafx-16 game, Dragon's Curse.

I stopped caring because I'm moving in a month anyway. Then I'm gonna buy some sweet games on the VC for my Wii.

havraha: However, good news -- Nintendo President has admitted that "although most people are happy with Wii's flash memory, there is a very small amount who believe it is too small. Despite their size, it just so happens that this group are the very most devoted gamers, so we are obligated to research the best possible solution."
havraha: Which is pretty much, garunteed, "Wii hard drive."
havraha: They talked a SHITLOAD at this recent conference. Basically about why Wii games are shit games, the fact that they're working on a hard drive, and the fact that they're aware their online sucks -- they're working on it.
havraha: They quite literally said "It sucks because we're trying to make it safe and sans annoying 12 year olds cussing nonstop and insulting grandmothers. We're working on it. Chill."
havraha: Which is actually a bullshit answer to me. If you want to make the OPTION of a safe, non-annoying gaming experience, then fine. People don't mind checking their shipments at the port. What people get pissed off about is a damn Berlin Wall, which is what Nintendo's "you can ONLY play online with our dumbed down safety features" is.
havraha: "Don't worry, its for you protection."
aJewThatCanFly: x box live has a mute feature
aJewThatCanFly: thats not too hard

If the online improves, the Wii will actually be a viable option for multiplayer online titles.
