With the recent e-mail Syd recieved, I thought this could actually be pretty fun/frustrating.
Describe a game vaguely, Name the system, but keep it American released.
Ex. It's for NES, in the game you drive around and get shot by snipers, there was also a side scrolling part, the main character punched, and wore a hat. There was some sort of password feature with a safe...
A right guess wins creative control (ex. Hollywood Hulk Hogan) over the thread.

I'm thinking Dick Tracey on this one.

Ok, since I got it right, and I actually have some time on my hands, I'll pick the next one.
NES:
A flight game. It utilized a fueling and navigation system that synced with the shield. Both combat and navigation are extremely difficult. Includes a base defense sequence.

Reminds me of Top-Gun, the whole refueling thing, but that's not it...

Not sure if I can figure this one out. The one type of game I never really got into for the NES were the flight games. I went and tried some of them just now to see if any fit the bill. But I just can't tell. And I'm not good enough at any of them to get far enough in the game to really be able to see a big difference, let alone mathing them to the discription.
I'll let somebody else figure it out.

Heh...looks like I did vague a bit too well. Since I'm pretty sure this isn't a first rate game that everyone's heard of, I'll throw a couple more hints.
It's a space flight simulator, and includes a planet exploration mechanism of sorts. It's universally considered to be a pretty crappy game.

The game I'm trying to describe is:
It's some wrestling game with these weird characters. It was released early on, and it moved kinda fast. At random times, this flashing ball would come and if you grabbed it, you would be able to kick all sorts of ass using some special move.

Oh, this didn't have to be console-specific? I thought it was just NES games.

A point and click for the NES. The hero is a cucumber and the objective is to save a princess.

Well, I wasn't sure how many people here actually played it. I could have probably came up with something better. I'm better at asnwering these than asking them anyways.
