Harry Potter star Emma Watson turned 18 on Tuesday, meaning she is now a legal adult and has full access to the fortune she has accumulated while acting since the age of 9. And that is way way more than you might think it is. The New York Daily News says…

For most teens, turning 18 and becoming a legal adult comes with a few small perks including voting rights. For Emma Watson, turning 18 grants her access to the $20 million she's amassed making the wildly popular film series.
But Watson's parents are making sure their daughter doesn't blow through her millions.

Watson has sat through a series of lessons in money management given by Coutts bank, the Daily Mail reports. She's reportedly learned about basic economics, investing, and philanthropy.

She's one year younger than me and still has about one hundred thousand times my total net worth.

...That's depressing.

I don't think I could spend twenty million in a lifetime. I mean, I could if I bought all sorts of stupid expensive shit but living a decent, non-outrageous lifestyle? I think I'd still have a couple million left when I ate it.

This, along with the fact that if they would actually invest a samll portion of that wisely they would never have to worry about income again, makes it almost unbelievable when you have these people with millions who end up going broke. I used to work with cancelled/denied loans for US Bank. You don't know how many big name celebrities I saw files for who had loans denied. Rappers and athletes mostly.

My Super-Lightning-Awesome Rockstar Mansion is gonna cost me a lot of money. It'll be lakeside, and will feature:
* A lobby, office, and master bedroom modelled after Tony Montana's.
* A ball-pit room.
* A full-size theatre.
* Third Floor art/recording and practicing studio.
* An basement level modelled after Bruce Wayne's Batcave, featuring guitar and car workshops.
* Indoor/Outdoor pools.
* A den complete with giant fire place, polar bear rug, and a bookcase that contains a secret entrance to a secret lab.
* Hedgemaze.
* Statue garden, featuring marble statues of various guitar gods and superheros.
* Driving range and helipad on roof.

Other than that, I'll spend my many rockstar riches on musical equipment, cars, philanthropy, and investments.

20 mil is quite easy to spend.

Lets say anywhere from 5-7 on a huge mansion. Then you gotta figure maybe 1 mil for all the tax and estate cost. Then you got your cars food travel maybe a 3 million yacht. Thats 10 right their. Not to mention other stuff that will add up.

If I ever make it big, I'm buying a castle. I don't care if I have to find some abandoned one in Europe or if I have to get some serfs to build it for me. I'm getting a damn castle. And then I'll need a moat filled with alligators to keep the black knight at bay. And by then technology should be at a nice level so I could hire some mad docs to genetic-engineer me up some dragons so my castle can have some guards.

I'd like a castle. But I think I'd prefer an airship.

Stetzer's air ship was a total piece of shit.

It was the Falcon that was bad ass in that game.

But to go a step further the Falcon was weak compared to the Big Whale.

I mean the fucking thing had a Chocobo in it... and it wasn't even hidden. Those Lunarians know how to live it up.

Have you seen the size of Zemus's digs?

With all the wars we've been having, I thought we'd have airships by now. Either through war means, or because our country would steal all the money of other countries and thus everyone would be able to afford them.

If I had an airship, I could feign stoicism by seldom responding to things that people said to me.

Crewman: A soldier's life is a life of adventure!
Syd: ...

Crewman: Will this war ever end?
Syd: ...

Crewman: Sir, monsters are attacking from the west!
Syd: ...

What about a castle ON an airship? Would that be an air castle or a castle ship?

Oh hell yes, Tebor. I love a good Phantasy Star reference Smile

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.
