From the 8-bit: A side-scrolling epic with a heavy emphasis on combat and the introduction of a magic system.

From the 16-bit: An improved port of the second Ninja Turtles arcade game that, on the SNES, is treated as a sequel to the stellar NES-exclusive beat 'em up from earlier in the year, which didn't make the other list.

This is how the final quarter kicks off. Let's make it interesting.

sigh.

i guess im biased mostly cause im a zelda geek and i never actually played enough of TMNT IV when I had my SNES due to my brother trading the SNES for a Genesis. which wasnt a bad trade considering we got the SEGA channel soon after, but i missed out on a lot of good SNES games.

I never got very far in Zelda II, because it seemed like a lot of work. TMNT was certainly not a lot of work.

And it's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time for the win. Next.
