From the 8-bit: A top-notch platformer based on an undeniably groundbreaking, but grossly overrated Disney cartoon.
From the 16-bit: An action/RPG set in a severely cursed kingdom.
I've been waiting a long time to type that little tidbit about option 1. Anyway, pick your poison.

These last few have been tough. I gotta give Soul Blazer some love since no one else is.

Have you ever, as an adult, watched a rerun of a show that you loved as a kid, and been disappointed by how badly dated the show is, followed by the realization that it was probably never as good as you thought it was? I have, and for me, that show was DuckTales. I'm not the only one who thinks so, either. The games it spawned are still good, though. Not that I'm casting my vote, mind you.

It was awesome when I was a kid, and that's what it's meant for. That's like saying that baby formula was overrated.

Baby formula probably is overrated
but most games based on a show or series usually sucks (like Virtual Bart) either way I don't care very much for disney anymore they can't draw and Walt Disney hated the jews or so I've being told.

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.
Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

The Capcom/Disney collaborations of the late 80s and early 90s were fantastic. Well, except for Mickey Mousecapade. Some people will argue that Adventures in the Magic Kingdom sucked as well, but I found it largely enjoyable.

Uh, I don't think that's what you said about it in your commentary on Disney's Aladdin.

I recognize that the game is unpopular so I went for the easy joke. Originally I was going to bring up Mickey Mousecapade, but I'd already brought it up twice in other articles and Jeebus brought it up in his DuckTales article, and I really didn't want to go back to that well yet again.
Also, enjoying a game doesn't mean that you don't also recognize that it's fairly mediocre. All in all, The Haunted Mansion and Pirate of the Carribean were the only really fun levels. The rest was kinda blah. But it was a good rental game. I spent a weekend beating it, and that was more or less the extent of my experience with it. It was a fun game to play through, but I wouldn't want to own it.

Aladdin for the genesis was such an amazing game. And Lion King was pretty good too. Not sure if those were capcom or not though.

The Genesis Aladdin game, and most of the Disney Genesis games, were produced by Sega themselves. The Sega version of Aladdin is generally regarded as better, largely because Disney animators worked with Sega to create the character animations.

Throwing Scar off the cliff was damn annoying.

Not as annoying as the waterfall or the maze level.
BTW they made a psx Aladdin game based off of the cartoon series. It had some flaws (some pixelation, but then again a lot of psx games had that) yet it was a pretty solid platformer if your a fan of the Aladdin series.

Make a favor for the gaming community, vote for SOUL BLAZER.
Yet, the Duck Tales game was kinda enjoyable. Its the only platformer for the NES I can finish without losing a life.

Who was Mozenrath? Did he have a skeleton hand?

Yeah, he had a skeleton hand, but he almost always wore a gauntlet over it. He was usually accompanied by a floating eel named Xerxes.

And DuckTales edges out Soul Blazer. This is now tied with my sixty-sixth poll for my most popular one. Next.

Yeah, and he had a bunch of zombies. Its all coming back. I loved that show, mainly cause of constant supernatural happenings.
