I've noticed I find horror movies more funny then scary is this odd?
I do remember watching Jason X when it came out I don"t know if that was suppose to be a horror movie, but damn it was pretty fucking funny.

Well anyway I find horror movies funny does that mean I'm fucked?

Slasher films, as a rule, tend to be funny. The teenagers are so damned stupid and the violence is so cartoonish, you can't help but laugh. If you find something like Hostel funny though, then you might have problems.

Laugher is quite a common response for seeing something that makes you uncomfortable. Now if he whacking off to Hostel, then I think some phone calls would need to be placed.

Watch Evil Dead, I think it's the second one I seen (Dawn of Dead?).

That is so fucking funny it is just retarded.

Either way I don't watch many movies and I mean seriously. I've only seen like 30 movies in my life and Hostel isn't one of them.

Just for safety reasons I won't watch that 'cuz I might find it funny. |

I find The Ring and "suspenseful" horror movies to be funny.

A lot of horror movies in general are so intentionally ludicrous, they can't really be taken seriously. Though some of them can still scare people. Some of the boarderline suspense/thrillers are usually a little more serious. But for the most part, especially anything that came out in the 80s is a prime example of what I'm talking about. You didn't really see a whole lot of seriousness back into horror until Scream came out. Most of the humor in that are along the lines of humor from most teen angst films.

Look at stuff like Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Great stuff.

I'm not gonna play the bullshit card because I don't think you are lying. But 30 movies does seem a little far fetched. I've probably watched more movies than that by accident (in the same room a movie is playing and watching it without really intending to).

I've seen the same movies multiple times but honestly I've only watched like 30 different movies in my life, which is kinda sad on my part.

I've noticed horror movies only tend to scare kids which is weird because kids aren't suppose to watch those movies (but that wouldn't stop them)

A horror movie with Michael Jackson is scary (in concept).

There is one right called Thriller?

Yeah there usually aren't a lot of movies that scare me as far as the mood goes. But there are obvious moments in movies that do startle me.

But no, 30 movies is okay. It probably means you just have more to do than I do, which is a good thing. Do you mind listing some of the ones you liked best just to give me an idea?

u havent seen any disney movies?
or the star wars movies? or lord of the rings? or jurassic parks? any marx bros movies? the super mario movie? coming to america?

its just hard to believe that your movie experience is limited to that list. not a bad list but very very underdeveloped.

I've seen parts of a lot of movies but I'm referring to movies I actually seen at least 51% of I've seen parts of the star wars, jurassic park, and lord of the rings movies never actually watched more then a quarter of them
(except jurassic park 3 I remember now I did see that one.)

Maybe I just don't have the attention span for movies, its not like I have ADD
Well I've never finished a book in my life so I could have ADD

I'm sorry. I can't ever even read what you write because all I can think of is getting hit in the balls with a stick.

Now what were you saying? Oh, okay. I can't ever seem to find movies that really scare me. I've tried watching them alone with all of the lights off on a stormy night and everything else. Nothing works. I guess I know I'm in no danger.

However, When a Stranger Calls (2006), though not as good as the original, I thought did a good job in setting the right mood. While it wasn't an amazing movie and wasn't really scary, it had a creepy feel to it.

What Lies Beneath was kinda scary for me, particularly that one bathtub scene.

I seriously go see horror movies to laugh, I am dead serious. They don't scare me. The only franchise I don't see to laugh are the Saw films, only because it feels like watching a BBC mini-series at this point.

Now, let's go see Prom Night and riot. |
