Until Ryan Payton announces it on the Kojima report - I believe nothing (when it comes to this port).

Ryan Payton posted this link to a A Formal Analysis of Metal Gear Solid 2. He commended it and says it is "Required reading before you play MGS4!"
Great way to kill time.

Anyone who was planning on getting a Japanese bundle of MGS4 with the PS3 is SOL. Konami's page indicates they've completely sold out.

I don't believe MGS4 won't sell well as a PS3 exclusive. I know a lot of people who are going to buy a PS3 just because of MGS4 - the PS3's June hardware sales are going to be massive.
I reckon the 360 version won't be a straight port - perhaps it'll receive extra content (a la MGS2: Substance)? That will seriously piss off the Sony fanboys. =P
Since I don't have a 360 or a PS3, MGS4 doesn't concern me. I'd rather hear news about a new Metal Gear appearing on Wii - not just some cheap port of MGS2 or 3. C'mon Konami, make it happen. We've got Snake in Brawl - that's a good enough excuse.

Except the 3-pack gives you the real version of MGS1 and the whole shebang is $30.

what? does the three pack come with a PS1 game?
and besides, I don't see how it's the "real" version just because it's missing the extra content. and does this three pack come with the subsissytissypisswhatever versions of 2 and 3 or just the regular ones?

upon readig a little bit, I would say it's a good set to have, as it comes with the substissiannasleugh versions of 2 and 3, but I would still recommend twin snakes on the side.

Also, the first game is on a ps1 disc and you need a ps1 memory card or ps3 to save like A. Pintor said. "Metal Gear Solid" is still on 2 discs so the set is 4 discs total. |
cheap!
