Yeah nice try Syd, we might have fallen for it if you hadn't already started a giant thread awhile back about whether or not to ignore that when they actually sent it to begin with but we're all older and wiser now! Plus pretty much everything I read on the web today will be nonsense, it's hard to fool someone via internet.

I didn't finish reading everything. This better be a very cruel April fool's joke Syd.

Also, poor Photoshopping on the Nintendo header.
Also also, I recall you saying you wouldn't be doing another of these.
Also³, interesting how the letter was written on a Saturday and overnighted to you...

So, the whole thing's a joke? Just so you know, I just made my family upset over this because I didn't get it.

Why do all of my favorite sites always have problems on April 1?

Plus, it was "Via Certified Mail". Whenever I use certified mail at work, I don't get the receipt back until weeks later usually, and the package usually takes just as long to get there as regular snail mail.

...and it wouldn't have said "VIA CERTIFIED MAIL" on the letter itself, unless it was mentioned in a paragraph and not before the letter, methinks.
We're not hating, Syd, we're helping to make next April Fool's Day the best one ever!

Sorry guys, but this is what cease and desist letters look like. If you check around, you will learn the unfortunate truth.
My AFD joke was going to be a massive rickroll over all of YouTube but Murdar beat me to it.

Standard operating procedure at my firm has my secretary write "VIA US Mail", "VIA Federal Express", or "VIA Certified Mail" above the address of the person I'm writing for every letter I send out. But yeah, I couldn't even tell that the Nintendo logo was photoshopped.
