My pick for today is:
http://www.parentstv.org/
These asshats are the Parent's Television Council.
There was a nude scene is "Las Vegas"? OH NOES! FIRE THE TORPEDOES!
These people need to move out of that rock they are living under, pull their heads out of their asses, and realize that there will never be an ideal utopia where everyone is nice to each other and they fart rainbows out of their rotten assholes.
Pretty much all of the so called "immoral" shows are the best ones to watch these days. All the shows they approve of are complete shit, like "1 vs. 100", "Deal or No Deal", and "Supernanny". All the good shows (at least compared to what I mentioned) are lynched, like "Family Guy", "Bones", "Terminator", "Heroes", and "House". And as you can see, most of the "dangerous" shows are from FOX.
But not all of the good shows get the "red light" (they use a dumbass traffic light for their ratings), shit like "According to Jim" (I don't like Jim Belushi, deal with it) and "Desperate Housewives" (to quote Stewie from Family Guy, "that red head looks like someone pulled Silly Putty over their knee") get panned by them.
These guys are obviously gay. Take a look at their review for "Charmed". One of the reasons they criticize it is because the witches "wear tight-fitting tops that expose and emphasize their cleavage". It's called eye candy. Every network does this.
It just goes on and on from here, so I'll stop. What they need to know is that no one is perfect, there will always be shit happening on television and the world. There is very little they can do about it. Not every child watching these shows will grow up to be a drunken, dumbass, douchebaggy, druggie, dim wit.

I'd love to spam that to some overprotective parents, as well as that organization. It perfectly describes my opinion on stuff like thiss
And you're right about the rating system, they have a disclaimer on it because of one word:

I once wrote a long letter to the PTC, ripping into them and parents in general. Who cry foul at every violent television show and program, yet can't be bothered to actually take the time to sit with thier kids and take an active roll in what they watch and play.
The strange thing is, the PTC actually posted the letter on thier website.

I can't find a leters archive on their website, so I can't find the letter. Needless to say I was rather pissed, as I had just finished reading "Foley is Good" and read his essay at the end of the book regarding the PTC and its founder.

I would like to submit Consumption Junction as one of the worst websites ever. I fucking hate that shit. There be no link provided because:
1. It's incredibly NSFW
2. It doesn't deserve a link

Today on "Worst Websites Ever"
http://www.theirategamer.com/
Once again mentioning a shitty game reviewer.
He is not a beautiful or unique snowflak- I mean reviewer. But then again who is? With the exception of the Spoony One, I say no one.
This man is a greedy, egotistical, sob. He doesn't give a shit about his fans. Even trite reviewers, like the "original" AVGN encourage and provide for their fans. But no, he only does it for the money. He rushed his shitty DVD to the public to beat the AVGN to the punch. All the content on the Irate Gamer's DVD is already available on YouTube.
Also, when you take into consideration of his massive subscriber count, you aren't even able to ascess the list of subscribers on his YouTube account. He probably makes sock puppet accounts constantly to keep up his (undeserved) popularity.
Chris Bores me to death.

HAHAHA! I just became aware of him this morning, actually. He was griping on the forums of a production libraries company (stock footage, music, etc.) that they weren't making enough of the one product line he liked.
Apparently he's also a Ghostbuster: http://www.haunted-investigators.com/

I like UrinatingTree. And if AVGN puts out more reviews like his Virtual Boy one, I'll start liking him more, too.

Can someone point me to an Armake21 video that doesn't suck? I've tried listening to a couple and can't make it past a minute of either. It's just a string of "WHAT THE FUCK THAT'S FUCKING STUPID THE VOICE ACTING IS HORRIBLE AHAHAHAHAHA!"
Not exactly insightful. And I watched a clip of his "Armake21 vs. Action 52" "trailer" where it's footage of a driving game and he's "acting," doing the voices of two characters talking to each other, one of which is the most pathetic cockney Jason-Statham-wannabe accent I've ever heard.

Chalk another one up for the irate gamer. Just watched his TMNT NES review, what a jackass. First he compares it to the arcade game, so what the fuck. No shit, the NES game isn't going to look like the arcade. Secondly, he must be a dumbass if he thinks that TMNT is a hard game. I can get to the Technodrome without using continues, even though I haven't beat the game, so he must really suck at NES or something. I didn't think he'd go there, but he did. TMNT II the arcade game. God, what a whiney SOB. I actually didn't think that the game was that bad, even though it does pale to the arcade. Fuck this guy, I thought all three NES TMNT games were good in their own right. Fuck Chris the royal Bore. This really makes me want to start reviewing games. At least I can say I'd give the game a fighting chance instead of constantly comparing it to other consoles or the arcade games. Fuck, we're talking about the NES, it had tons of arcade translations, many sucked, many were good. Fuck this, i'm out.

I'd be a terrible YouTube game reviewer, now that I think about it. Look around, the vast majority of them are all "let's make fun of these shitty games from times past and present", and the very rare "this game is so awesome all I can do is curse and froth about it for half an hour".
I end up liking almost everything I play, so my reviews would all be "Y'know, this game isn't all bad, just look at the graphics and I like the gamble they made with this weird game mechanic..."
That's another thing, I'd focus on explaining why my opinion was the way it was. On YouTube, if your opinion can't be summed up in five words, one or more of them "fuck", then you get "teh epic fail".

To be fair, many people (myself included) find the original TMNT game to be hard. The underwater level required precision control that simply wasn't there on an NES controller. So that would usually eat up a life or two. And I must have spent at least half an hour figuring out how to use those damn grappling hooks in Level 3.
The game doesn't seem anywhere near as bad now. Part of it is that I'm a better gamer, and part of it is that I have since learned that pizza slices respawn when you leave a building.

Yeah, every time I open the fridge there's a whole pizza there. Every time I open the oven there's a half pizza there. And every time I leave the apartment and come back, there's a quarter pizza sitting on the shelf. Yeah, that's real life for ya.

I can't argue with you there, games were definitely harder when I was younger, and yes TMNT was a tough game back then.. But the reason why games seemed hard back then wasn't because of the lack of precision control or anything to that matter. It was the lack of information. Today we have the internet, back then you had to either buy a book or guide, struggle through the vague in game instructions, find answers in the also vague instruction manual, or ask a friend who had the same game.. Many RPG's for the NES's seemed very difficult for me just because sometimes the in game characters just wouldn't tell you enough, it seemed. It must be agreed upon that if the internet were around during the NES's heyday, the games would have seemed significantly easier. However, I think that games today are alot easier with all the tutorials and crap they throw in. Back in the NES days you really had to figure out on your own. "Whoops I died, oh well I guess that's not how I get past that section" was a common thought for me, as many games required trial and error to figure out a decent strategy.
Well, I've rambled enough for today.
