Some parts are really annoying, but the cutscenes are nice.

I didn't make the acqusition, but I have played the Japanese version.

Never played Melee, but from what I hear, it's loss is only a good thing

I hate how they nerfed the hell out of Peach's second jump. its non existent. and her final smash is pretty gay too. and her downward smash where she spins around, used to hit you 10 times or so, now only hits you for 3. her forward smash is a bit stronger this time around. its harder to fight w/her this time around especially since its easier to grab items in midair this time around. you used to be able to just spam the turnip and throw it at her opponents and keep them off balance but now they catch 'em in midair. all in all, she got nerfed the biggest and it seems the timing is a split second different w/C. Falcon this time around too. im sure i just need more time w/her but still pretty disappointed in the changes w/Peach.

I like Bowser more this time around though. I thought he was a BITCH to play w/in SSBM but he is a lot more palatable this time around.

DK's final smash is good once you get the timing down on the banging of the drums.

I think they made G&W smashes stronger this time around, or the stages are just easier to get bounced off of as I was knocking people off at 60-80% damage.

I also like how they made wall jumps way way easier this time around.

I had more to rant on and I didnt want to start a new thread so I hope LS dont mind me using his thread to vent on.

The entire game is balanced. The only characters I'd call cheap are Pit and Meta Knight.

Well, there's many I'd choose, but since the question only asks for "Nintendo" characters, I'd go with Dixie (Kong). Blood Falcon or Black Shadow would've been cool too.

the controller customization options are kind of frustrating too. I like that you can turn tap jumping off, but why can't you turn tap running off? I'd prefer to double tap so I don't run past my mark when trying to pick something up or do a forward attack without smashing.

don't even get me started on the complexeties of trying to make a control scheme thats worth a damn with the sideways wiimote.

Bowser. I love being him but I'm not really that good with him.

I'd love it if Charizard was his own character. I mean, I like the concept of a Pokemon Trainer but... if some yellow rat deserves his own slot, why doesn't Charizard? Or Squirtle or Ivysaur for that matter?

Ganondorf looks kind of strange to me. Also, to be quite honest, Fox and Wolf look incredibly stupid with their new styles. Their ears look too small and they stick up and ugh.

Ganondorf. I haven't gotten to play as him, but... not looking forward anymore, after hearing everyone else. C'mon, why is he a damn Captain Falcon clone? That's like making Ike a clone of Mario - it doesn't make any freaking sense. Also, Jigglypuff is still in this freaking game. ...Why is that? Jigglypuff can go suck a lemon.

11: Cheapest character?
I haven't thought about that really. All of my Brawls so far have been with/against different characters, so no one's stuck out as being cheap.

The Smash Ball is... so... pretty.

Nothing stands out, really, to me.

Snake's. I've never actually triggered it myself, but being able to leap off the stage and just pepper everyone with grenades is an ability I respect very much.

15: Worst Final Smash?
Zelda's, because on one hand it seems kind of worthless, and on the other hand a friend used Zelda on the flat Bridge stage just to use that final smash and it kind of pissed me off that I didn't expect it.

15: Best outfit?
Being able to play as Dark Link or Dark Samus is neat. I also love finding the "gay" outfits for all the characters.

16: Worst outfit?
Nothing sticks out as being the worst.

17: Favorite stage?
It's been too long. I don't remember anymore...

18: Least favorite stage?
Again, nothing sticks out. Ugh.

19: Favorite boss in the Subspace Emissary?
The Meta Ridley battle was awesome to watch.

I guess the battle with Rayquaza, just because it was so random. What did I ever do to you, Rayquaza? Maybe also the battle with Porky, again because of how out of place it was. A bunch of my friends were freaking out about "OMG BRAWL IS GOING TO SPOIL THE CRAP OUT OF MOTHER 3 SO PLAY IT NOW WITH THIS ENGLISH TRANSLATION GUIDE" and... the only thing it spoiled was something I had already gotten by watching YouTube videos.

21: What did you think of the Subspace Emissary?
I liked it a lot. I got to play through half of it twice, actually. Once with one friend, and then again with that friend's sister when she deleted the existing save. Ahahaha. Fond memories.

No, although I almost did.

Of course not.

24: Did you get a Japanese Wii and game to play it early?
Absolutely not, on principle I don't play Japanese versions of games.

Gamecube. Not even going to try with a Wiimote.

26: Are you sad that "wave dashing" is gone?
I don't even know how to trigger it, let alone use it in any strategy. So no.

28: Least favorite music track?
I haven't found any songs that I outright disliked. One friend went through the whole My Music mode making me listen to her favorite songs and telling me about "oh this one sounds so epic" "this one has a cool Latin beat" "this one is well conducted" etc. She's in band and I didn't have the heart to tell her that the only themes I gave two craps about were Gritzy Desert because I recognized it from the game it was from and the menu theme.

29: Favorite weapon?
Just like everyone else, either the super scope or beam sword.

30: Least favorite weapon?
The smart bomb. It detonates frustratingly early and ALWAYS catches me in the blast. To make matters worse, my teammate usually triggers it herself and catches us BOTH.
