From the 8-bit: A first-person text adventure set in 1941 Chicago centered around piecing your identity back together.

From the 16-bit: A bloody fighting game set on a nigh-deserted Earth.

Stryker is criminally underrated. There, I said it. The idea of a riot cop holding his own against the likes of Liu Kang and Shang Tsung actually intrigued me when I was younger. These days, I regard him as just another character and therefore just another reason to beat the game. More on this in the poll after next. Anyway, take your pick.

I always used to play Stryker myself, and I thought he was pretty cool. He pretty much became my favorite character in that game since:
1. They killed of Johnny Cage (favorite character)
2. They didn't include Raiden (second favorite)
3. Or Scorpion (Third Favorite)
4. And gave us some lame, non-ninja Sub-Zero (Fourth favorite)

Damnit, MK3. You gave me the fucking shaft. I'm voting for Deja-Vu becasue of that, even though I've never played the game.

In fact, fuck any Mortal Kombat game after 4. Deadly Alliance sucked, and the rest probably aren't much better.

MK2 FTW!

WHy would you wait to discuss a poll question? Isnt the idea of a poll to stir debate and constructive [positive arguments about the topics at hand?

MK2 is my fav ever. One of my favorite things ever is that little competition mode where you ach choose 5 diff characters.

I'm trying to get people to vote like me, that's why.

Plus, when else am I going to get a chance to bash MK3?

MK2 is the best MK.

I think he wanted to keep the polls as uninfluenced as possible, so as to properly gauge whatever the hell he is gauging.

Don't worry. I voted for deja vu anyway.

What I meant was the thing about playable charatcers in general. Sorry, I should've specified to begin with.

And Deja Vu obliterates Mortal Kombat 3. On to one I've been wanting to do for a long time.

I would've voted for MK3, but that first version is all kinds of evil. Evil

Only gripe: You can punch the mugger three times, but you can shoot him...booooo!

I missed the poll, so no vote for me, but yea, Deja Vu wins. But Deja Vu vs. Shadowgate?
