So I didn't want to deal with lines and crowds and whatnot, so I decided to order Brawl on Amazon. I ordered two-day shipping, because it was $8 as opposed to $16, and I couldn't justify paying $16 to ship something I could have picked up at a store if I wasn't so damn lazy. I figured that item would ship on Friday or Saturday, and I'd have it by Tuesday at the latest. So now I find out that those miserable pricks at Amazon aren't even shipping it til tomorrow. So I wouldn't have it until Wednesday.

Fuck you Nintendo, for releasing a video game on a Sunday instead of a normal fucking business day. I'm going to track down your employees one by one and choke them to death with my semen.

Oh yeah, I could have gotten it today, with only moderate hassle. But I figured, eh, an extra day, maybe two, is no big deal, and it's better than dealing with screaming kids and annoying parents. But THREE days is right out.

that sucks syd. you couldnt my friend gets his tomorrow 03/10 via amazon.com too. dont know if he did overnight or whatev but he said it shipped out on friday for him.

ill get my friend code on that other thread later on after i unlock everything.

you should have just gone to sams like I said. five minutes in, five minutes out.better yet, cancel your order on amazon, and go to sams right now.

And we don't have no goddam Sam's Club round these parts... and the nearest Wal*Mart is 30 minutes away. We have an embarassment of Targets, Gamestops, Circuit Cities, and Best Buys though.

I must admit, I am also pissed off that it had to be released on a Sunday, especially since A.) the Gamestop I reserved it from didn't do a midnight reserve and B.) I have to get up for an 8:00 A.M. math class tomorrow.

Oh well! The game is still the one of, if not, best damn games that will ever be released on the Wii outside of the Virtual Console.

the sunday release is excellent for me, because I have monday and tuesday off.

The best decision in making this game was allowing the Gamecube controller to still be used. I don't even wanna think about using the Wii remote for this. Also the new graphics are amazing, but distracting.

On Sunday I was visiting family and happened to be in a Costco. I saw the game for $43 bucks and picked it up. They had about a billion of them in stock.

I'm getting it tomorrow, I'm pretty sure my local mall with at least ten stores with video games for sale will have at least one copy, unless my luck just flops like a dead horse then I'm screwed.

Oh well, my neighbor has it at least....

Pretty fun game. However, one of the reasons I got into it is because my roommate plays it and I love beating the shit out of him at video games. Er, Vidcons.
