The easiest game I've ever played was a port of Megaman II on GB. I think it took me like 20 minutes to beat it. I'm not completely sure but, I fucking beat it so quick I got pissed that it was that easy. On a side note I was like six so that just proves the game was easy.

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.
Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

Obviously one of those Fisher-Price games for the NES.
Mega Man 2 for GB? More like Mega Man 2 for NES.

MM2 on the NES used to seem really hard when I was little. I always used to lose to the dragon in Wily's Castle because I was so damned afraid that I'd fall in the pit that I created a self-fulfilling prophecy. I was also convinced that the jumping sequence in Heatman's level was IMPOSSIBLE without that Item.
As for easy games, Fire Fighter on the Atari 2600. Most of Capcom's Disney were pretty easy too.

True that. Also, I usually wimp out on Mega Man games once all of the first robots are killed and they no longer give you passwords.

What's that game where you kill kindergartners? That was pretty easy. It has a controller shaped like a baseball bat and I've only ever seen it at one arcade, this place called The Montrose Elementary School. It's down the street from my house.

Half Life 2: Episode 1. I burned through that in like 4 hours, when I beat it, I was like "That's it?" I know it's just an expansion but it still seemed awful short.

Ren + Stimpy on genesis. Aside from a cheap hit or two on the last level, that was stupidly simple. I opened it on Christmas, and about 15 minutes later I was done.

yeah. I remember that game. it was easy but it had the right amount of R&S elements necessary to make it fun and charming

Arcade Mode in Soul Calibur and Soul Calibur 2. Never played SC3, but I imagine it's the same.
I can choose Sophitia, constantly sidestep and mash one or two buttons and be done in about 10 minutes.

Tekken 4 was pretty easy when they had it on "one fight only" mode in the arcade at the bowling alley. Ring out a bunch of assholes, and beat a boss up, real tough once you've memorized the ho-hum dial-a-combos.

I been playing Sly 3 lately on the PS2, and thats pretty easy. the save system and the way the missions play out just make it very simple. no set # of lives etc etc.
now i was playing Punch Out on the Wii and that game is still ridiculously tough. I hate Mr. Dream/Mike Tyson. I hate Soda Popinski. I hate Super Macho Man. the graphics are so simple. the story so simple. but the game is still WAAAAY better than most crap out nowadays. and i like the fact that its hard w/no set difficulty level like games have nowadays.
