my friend was supposed to hook me up w/that game ages ago and he still hasnt. now im out of room on my HDD so i cant even get it. argh.
but once i get my new HDD ill get it from him so i can jump on and see what the hype is all about

I'm not very good either, so no worries. Most people that play take it waaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously. I go in there to fuck around and try to procrastinate before going to class. And when noobs like me end up killing serious CS fanboys, their reaction is priceless.

Oh good. That is the same thing i was thinking. Because im not the best cs player i just have to deal with the l33t pro talk. SO usually i just end up bot hunting.

Source is terrible. They didn't really improve the game at all.
When I play I play 1.6, as "Ghandi"  There may be more Ghandi's out there, but you'll know it's me because I love the pump shotgun a little too much.

I played CS for years and years starting around beta 2 up until the first steam version. I got piss poor grades my freshman year of college largely due to the game. Dust, assault, office and italy were tons of fun. Eventually my friends stopped playing it though, and I kind of lost interest too. I bought HL2 when it came out, mainly to get my hands on CS:Source, but it was pretty much the exact same thing as before, and I found dealing with steam to be more trouble than it was worth so I deleted it. Maybe I'll dust it off someday to relive the memories. It's definitely a fun game, I just got tired of it after around 5 years...
