From the 8-bit: An American Civil War simulation where players can win or lose the war in under five minutes.

From the 16-bit: A beat 'em up based on the Emmy-winning animated series.

There seems to be no question about this one, but regardless, I must make sure.

North and South ruled, but not as much as General Chaos.

I remember playing B&R for the Genesis. Kind of hard.

Never played N&S, and im a huge Batman freak, so I will naturally go w/the Batman game. And it was a hard game but very very fun. The furthest level I got to, if I recall correctly, was the hang-gliding stage. Which was near the end, but I could never beat it. On the Genesis too btw

Yeah. I agree. I cant wait for LEGO Batman and I hope they release the adv. of B&R on VC.
