I've made it a point to have my own personal arcade when I get super rich someday. Also, my arcade wouldn't be filled with lame Big Game Hunt light gun games.

What three games are must haves for you guy's own personal arcades?

I myself would have:
1. Mrs. Pac Man (Cocktail table top)
2. Virtua Fighter 2
3. 4-player NBA Jam

But there's so much to choose from:

Honorable mentions: Lucky and Wild, MJ's Moonwalker, some Skiball. The list goes on and on...

I'll cheat, and for one of my arcade games, I'd have a neo-geo machine with a 3 slot board. So my list would be:

1. Samurai Shodown IV, Last Blade 2, Capcom vs SNK
2. 3 player D&D Shadows Over Mystara
3. The Sitdown Star Wars Cabinet.

Why not make it a 4 slot board?

My 4 slot board would have:
1. Fatal Fury
2. Bust a Move
3. Metal Slug
4. Some other cool fighter (Real Bout FF)

Also, my arcade would be decorated with vintage Star Wars posters and I'd sell over priced mini pizzas to be microwaved.

3's just not enough. 10 is the lowest you can go for a real arcade.

EDIT: Nobody mentioned the first Gauntlet.

Yeah, EPIC FAIL to Knyte for not including a Metal Slug game in his Neo Geo cabinet.

1.) The most recent 3D Gauntlet game.
2.) The 6-man X-men game.
3.) Either one of Capcom's D&D-license beat-'em-ups.

Make the first "T2" instead and that's my list too.

Not so much classics, but the arcade I worked at had these, and we had a ridiculous amount of stupid fun not working playing the following.....

Killer Instinct 2 (it's probably the animated boobies...honestly, and the most awesome music...)

Ultimate MK3

Crime Patrol 2 : Drug Wars
Let me go into this, this was a laser disc game, that was a shooter, so the response time was awful, and we the guns would never configure properly. It is still a sight to behold. If you want to see total bad-ass B movie acting jobs and typecasting, this is the way to go.
It is a most awesomely bad production.....

For me, I think it'd be...

One of the Gauntlet games (probably Legends or maybe one of the classics)
One of the Metal Slug games (1 or 3 probably)
Rampage: World Tour

That's all I'm really familiar with.

Revolution X? I like that game. It was one of my favorite arcade games back then. Very Happy

As for me, it would have to be:
1.) A Neo-Geo Cabinet with Bust-A-Move and a Metal Slug game.
2.) Either Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man
3.) One of those old Nintendo machines that have NES games in them and require a quarter to play.

An honorable mention would be SegaSonic the Hedgehog. It's a Sonic game that I currently want to try.

Edit: Another honoroable mention would be Splatterhouse. That game is awesome.

I've played that on an emulator, and it's basically impossible without the trackball.

Well, I never played that game, but it seems so innovative.

Really! I never would've thought that there would be a Sonic game with a trackball. Confused

That's why it wasn't included on Sonic Mega Collection or Sonic Gems... they felt there was no way to properly emulate it. They could probably do it on the Wii, using a tilt method like what Secret Rings used.
