And Desert Strike: Return To The Gulf all but obliterates Tombs & Treasure, though like in the #96 poll, more votes would be needed for it to be a Godzilla vs. Bambi-type situation.

From the 8-bit: A repetitive, sub-par port of a Midway arcade classic that gets mixed reviews.
From the 16-bit: A platformer based on the top-grossing movie of 1992.
Just go nuts.

The Genesis version kicked the snes so bad. You have no real offense in the snes one but it is fun.

From the 8-bit: A platformer starring an anthropomorphic mouse as players guide him through thematic levels in various stages of his adult life.
From the 16-bit: A fighting game taking place in a wrestling ring.
Funny story, both of the people to whom I gave this choice in real life picked the former.

I don't really like Mappy, so I'm picking Slam Masters.

From the 8-bit: A cinematic sequel continuing in it's predecessor's traditions with a new ability, a swapped-in feature and a darker atmosphere.
From the 16-bit: A top-notch beat 'em up based on the 1992 hit sequel.
Sequel versus game based on sequel. This should be ineresting.

Ninja Gaiden II.
Personally, I thought II was better than I. The ability to climb should have been there to start, and that jumping attack was removed. The after images were kinda cheap.

And it's another Godzilla vs. Bambi-type situation as Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword Of Chaos all but obliterates Batman Returns. I actually expected it to at least be a close race, considering the options.

From the 8-bit: An adventure game based on the top-grossing movie of 1988.
From the 16-bit: A wrestling game featuring the WCW's biggest stars of the mid-90s.
Go nuts again.

I have to close them after one day or the whole thing'll take longer than it's already going to. If you weren't the one who cast Batman Returns' lone vote, then you snooze, you lose. If you were, sorry your pick just wasn't nearly as popular.

no. You can always run like 10 at once. No one says you have to wait til one closes before making a new one. give each like 3-4 days and do 10-15 more. Why not.

Because it's my project and I'll run it the way I want. I wasn't happy wih some of the outcomes to date, that of the #89 poll coming to mind, but I planned to do it this way from the start.
