Yeah, way to go on having a kid and naming him awesomely, but I can't help but think he's really gonna hate you for that later. Not because it's not a cool name or anything, but because you named him something so awesomely nerdy, just to spite you, the universe will grow him into a rap kid or whatever the hell stupid trend controls our youth in the future. But I can't think of anything real offensive or vulgar that rhymes or can be derived from Raistlin, so he won't have to worry about getting called names in grade school...
And seriously, I'm not knocking the name, my kid will be named Mara or something so I can't talk.

idk who Raistlin is, but congrats either way. sounds like Raisin, not that im trying to knock the name or anything, but continuing on Black Zarak's post about it not rhyming w/anything offensive or whatev.

But seriously, congratulations! And on the most romantic day of the year (some say).
Speaking of names, I'd always wanted to name a son Trevelyan (after Alec Trevelyan in Goldeneye), but my parents finally convinced me that that's not a great first name. Maybe I'll sneak it in as a middle name.

Just for those not in the know, Raistlin is a wizard from the Dragonlance series of books/novels. He's really powerful, he gets winded easily, and profoundly nerdy people have dream matches between him and Elminster of Shadowdale. Or Picard.
