Stallone was on "The View" this week and I managed to catch it... Except President Bush decided to hijack the airwaves to talk about financing... Actually he cut off Stallone right as he was talking about the violence and politics of the movie:
"If I were to white wash this movie --- And now a message from the president of the United States."
Anyway, the clip they showed from the movie was Rambo holding a bow and arrow to a guy's face surrounded by mercenaries. Rambo gives his "Live for nothing or die for something" speech. It got me thinking about Metal Gear, which makes sense sense Kojima was partially inspired by Rambo. Rambo's in a mercenary country with mercenaries from around the world and this scene looks like he's trying to reason with them. That's kind of how MGS4 is looking. Coincidence? Of course, but it's good to see Rambo and Snake are still on the same side.
I so hope this film is full of political propaganda. Seriously.
