From the INQ:

FORMER truck driver Queen Elizabeth II has apparently become hooked on the Nintendo Wii.

According to tabloid rag The People, her most Royal Majesty, who drove a truck during the war, happened to see Prince William playing with his console and asked to have a go.

Wills could not get his Gran off the machine. One liked the ten-pin bowling game and considered oneself a bit of a natural.

Wills, who was given the game by his current squeeze Kate Middleton, thought it was a hoot.

A palace spokesman said that his only difficulty now is prising the controller from the Queen's clutches. There was a small matter about who could lock whom up for treason.

Her Majesty is a bit of a techie. She got her first mobile in 2001, and was an early adopter of email. Although she has an Ipod she does not have an Iphone because she is a serious Blackberry user.
