The one thing that stands out for 6 is the fact you don't have a main character who has to be in every party assembled. You can pretty much choose anyone anytime to be in your party.

Yeah they can. The other person just needs to have AIDS as well. Thus the dating websites for people with it. We almost signed a friend of mine up and set him up on a blind date but it was way too mean but we couldn't go through with it

Threads pretty off topic. My dislikes for 7 are i don't like the whole 3 person party. I got used to 4 people in games like Breath of fire 1 2 Lufia the tales series etc. even most of the FF were 4. Then they drop it back to 3 Not saying the game needed 4 but i don't know why they had to drop it to 3. Also the godness of all characters being able to use any spell made it boring. It seemed like the only differences were limits and long range. Obviously due to cartridge limitations the story of 7 beats it right out. Can't blame the game for that though.
Plus i had a friend who had tons of saves and showed me the points when i never played it. I got all the spoilers and the ending before i ever started the game.

It is extremely diff. In fact most of the dialog is tweaked considerably. Although esperless is cool but dont not get some of them. The new gba espers are actually pretty cool. Worth using them in battle once or twice.

Don't forget that for awhile the main character in VII (Cloud) "died", and you did not have him in the party. I liked the way VI played better than VII, but I think I prefered VII's story and characters better.

hehehe good point. Loved Cid runnin around half bent backwards. Looked like he pulled his back. I agree 100% the characters in 7 go a lot deeper than in background than the one level or one scene per char in 6. Still the people in 6 felt so much more unique. Especialy Gau once hes leveled up right or someone like Gogo.
