What did you guys get for Christmas this year? As for me, I got a bitchin' Mercyful Fate hoodie, some fancy colored pencils, a Fulci Lives T-shirt, a giant chocolate bar from the candy store one town over (home made!), brand new underwear (from Santa, creepy), a bowl with a rooster on it (with a matching plate), the record of Metal Massacre V, and that's not even counting all the cool toys I bought myself before Christmas (along with Metroid Pinball and Lost Magic). Damn, what a sweet Christmas. I didn't get Contra 4 though. But my Dad says there's still some stuff coming in the mail.

As I said in the other thread:
I didn't get shit except clothes this year, but when my money starts coming.. oh, when my money starts coming next month...
Also, I really hope you get Contra 4. That is gold.

I got The Dirt and The Heroin Diaries, so I should be the resident Motley Crue expert in about 2 weeks. I also got a Fender watch, $50, $50 gift card for the local mall, a Rubik's Cube, a wallet (with an extra $5), a Canucks hat, pyjamas (no fucking socks and underwear though, which is kinda disappointing), an Iron Maiden Trooper t-shirt, an X-Men pop-up book (it's the dope shit), Spiderman 3 and Lords of Dogtown. Also, my little sister bought me a cell phone (but I spent over $100 on her). Oh, and I went and saw Van Halen.
I got Knocked Up too (the movie...get your mind out of the gutter crackwhore!)

I got a few thoughtful and practical gifts. Other than those, I got this cool dragon T-shirt that is black and white, and then it gets colorful when you expose it to sunlight. I also got a Logitech gaming keyboard and this attache case for my laptop. Then, as for games, I got Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, and Contra 4.
Speaking of Contra 4, it's pretty badass! But I can't get past the first level on easy. I've never felt so inadequate.

I got a White Darth Vader PSP Pack (with Battlefront: Renegade Squadron), Halo 3, RE 4 Wii Edition, Metal of Honor Heroes 2, Castlevania Chronicles, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War, MGS Portable Ops Plus (I wanted Portable Ops, but I'll check this out), Super Mario Sunshine, A 30GB Zune (I'm currently loading all of the Press Start Bonus Levels on there. Thank you DownloadHelper and CinemaForge), a $25 Gift Card to both Borders and Land's End, a new coat, a Wii Classic Controller, and a cell phone. I didn't get Contra 4, but my grandmother accidentally got me 2 copies of Halo 3 so I'll grab that when I return Halo 3 and buy a memory stick pro duo and Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX.

It's really fun. It's somewhere between a real Dragon Quest game and Pokemon in terms of gameplay.

Syd, I gotta ask you, how is Godzilla Unleashed? I really want to play it, but I'm scared it won't be as good as I hoped. (Fun fact: that's why Bluey doesn't buy many games these days, because he's paranoid)

I want to know too. Most of the Godzilla games I've played have been kind of shitty.

It's pretty fun and the character roster is rather awesome. The controls are just as clunky as they were in Destroy All Monsters Melee though, so if you're hoping for better control of your giant fighting monsters, well, too bad. But the game is nice mindless fun, especially if you're a Toho fan.

I didnt buy any gifts this year and I didnt ask for anything, mostly because of some anti-materialism protest im trying to stage. But of course its silent so people had no idea.
Anyhow, my bro got me a Tupac Shakur Legacy book. Pretty fucking cool.
and I donated money to the save darfur people and world vision people.

The mix of cash, gift cards, a used videogame that I returned within 7 days, that dumb Gamestop card, and a special "Buy 2 used games get one free", all managed to collectively net me the games:
1. God of War II
2. Odin Sphere
3. Metal Slug Anthology
All games I've been meaning to buy, all for about the best deal I could manage. I'm very satisfied.
