I hated Night of the Living Dead. 30 minutes of awesome zombie goodness going to a hour of people PMSing each other in a house.
I liked the 1st and 3rd RE movies, but not the 2nd one.
EDIT: I'm tired of this CG bullcrap. Give me RE 4 with Milla Jovovich!

If Milla Jovovich is never in another RE movie again, it'll be too soon. I have nothing against her as an actress, but I don't like how she is in those movies.

I understand good movies that keep my attention. Tons of old classics did, but not this one. |
The first Night of the living dead was ahead of its time in terms of social and political comentary and of what else was being shown in movie theatres.

It's just that you said "Advent Children-styled" instead of CG. (On a side note, I thought Advent Children was meh. Then again, I saw it at 3 am in subtitled Japanese on a malfunctioning PS2).
But yeah, Paul Anderson basically took Resident Evil, crumpled it up, ate it, and shit the remains onto celluloid.

Ok, there were the awesome games, then there were the "crappy" movies, then they are still making awesome games.
