Review of Fantastic 4 circa 1994

I found this to be hilarious. Not just the rants of the reviewer but the movie itself. I want to see this movie, it looks more intriguing then the current F4 movies, in terms of cheesy entertainment anyway. It looks as if the 1994 movie tried to stay true with the comic and even then, the F4 are freaking hilarious.

And based on the humor of the article, i made some edits of one of the pic that i couldn't resist.

I love this movie so much. With its hammy acting, incomprehensible mumbling Dr. Doom, and a score that rips off Jurassic Park, it's one of the gems of my collection. If you think Chris Evans was overacting, wait till you see Jay Underwood as Johnny Storm. Oh man.

I must have seen this movie at least a dozen times. Probably more. Also, it's sort of how I met my wife. I brought it over to a friend's dorm in college to show it to him (he was a big comic book nut), and she was there as well. We were all riffing the movie and when I discovered she was an MST3K fan, I knew it was true love. Wink

The Roger Corman version is damn fun. I LOVE Dr. Doom in it! But I hate that he has Leprechaun henchmen... Although, that did make the film more comic booky.

My brother's boss lent this to me and it was cheesetastic. Dr. Jeebus was unable to watch it all the way through, but I did.

It was pretty awful, but you can tell that they were trying. They just didn't have the budget to make a good movie. I love that Commandant Lassard from Police Academy is that most famous person in it.

With the 3rd Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and then this I can see why the superhero movies died in the 90's. Good thing Spiderman brought them all back.

Well, considering this was never released, I don't think it had much do do with that.
