Seriously, who fucking decided that having an annoying asshole who always pesters people trying to play their PSPs was a good idea? I fucking hate those commercials so much, especially the new Star Wars one. If I didn't already hate the system and for some reason was playing one in the mall and that asshole came up to me acting like that, I'd bash his skull in.
Thoughts?

Hahahahaha, so that's why you were asking me about Malak last night. It's about time someone cataloged my hatred. And I don't like the 300 episode of South Park because I did like 300 quite a bit and unlike Syd, I don't think South Park was just giving it a good-natured ribbing, I think it was a very harsh attack on the movie.

Aww, I want someone to catalog things I hate or love. I need to drop more hints.
And I too very much hate the PSP's advertising. It was kind of funny the first time I suppose, but with each repeated viewing it just brings up more images of people who are actually like the idiot in the commercial.
I also don't understand how the PSP players in the commercial can stay hunched over while they're playing (example: PSP player in the video above me). I do that for five minutes and my neck starts aching. I can't even imagine watching a whole movie like that.

The guy in the PSP commercials reminds me of Chris Wylde, the guy from those annoying DiGiorno commercials that were on like 8 or 9 years ago. He also had one of the worst fucking shows ever to air on Comedy Central.

There is only one PSP game that I would ever want. That game would be Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles, but that's only because it's a remake of Akumajō Dracula X Chi no Rondo, which never came to the U.S.
Other than that, there are no PSP titles that interest me in the least.

Today I was talking about the sweet DS case I got last night and he told me he thought the DS was stupid. I almost punched him in the face, but then he said that he thought every game for it was gimmicky. So I told him about all the good games and it was cool. Oh, and the only game I that really makes me want a PSP is the Darkstalkers one. God, I love Darkstalkers.

I got a PSP for Christmas two years ago, gave it a shot and immediately traded it in for a DS. It's not a question of fan loyalty (I prefer no one company over another), it's a question of which is a better system. DS has better games and more exciting features, that's all it comes down to. It seems like all PSP has is, as mentioned before, bad ports of games you can play better versions of on the PS2, whereas the DS has a bunch of original games that you can't just pick up for your Wii or Gamecube. I also find the mic and touchscreen features more interesting than a single, shitty analog stick. Just playing a PSP game becomes a chore after a short while thanks to the shitty controls. We're not "sucking the skin of the DS's dick", we're praising the only hand held that deserves praise. Need further proof the DS's superiority? How many times a day do see commercials for the super special, limited edition, collector's version, white Samus DS with Metroid Prime Hunters? And how many times do you see that shitty white Darth Vader PSP ad? Exactly. Nintendo doesn't even have to advertise their handheld, while Sony is already using the super rare, collector's edition, buy-it-now or you'll never be cool angle to try to move product, there's no contest here.

So I can't play Mario Party or Mario 64 on a Wii or GC? Zelda: TP? I man, if you're gonna seletcively pick PSP games and go PORT MACHINE LOLZ, at least admit that DS is as guilty, and is also home to tons of shovelware ports of shit you can play for free on your PC.

I found a lot of DS games I had, tacked on the touchscreen controls. Castlevania's little "novelty" of drawing seals was fine and dandy, but completely tacked on. Same for Wario Touched... these both could have been GBA games (and may have been originally, who knows). And yeah, that mic is nifty... when you can blow into it instead of yelling on Feel the Magic and it still counts, Brain-Age's spotty recognition, etc. Interesting =\= functional or useful.
