Hello, fellow gamers. I just remembered an old Sega game called Ronald McDonald's Treasureland Adventure. It consisted of Ronald McDonald collecting gold, beating the crap out of bosses, and finding a magical treasure. If you people have this game, tell me what you think of it.
And now, here are some pictures of the game:
Here is the Japanese Box:

I have this game, and personally, I think it was underrated. I know it was a difficult game, but I still thought it was awesome.

I never played that... Are the classic McDonald characters like Mayor McCheese, Big Mac, and Captain Crook in it?

The three characters you mentioned are only in the end. Although, you meet other McDonald's characters, such as Hamburglar, Grimace, Birdie the Early Bird, and the Fry-Kids throughout the game.

Now that I know the full title, I have a greater understanding of what the fuck is up with the bird.
So she represents the breakfast menu? Or just the egg sandwich shit?
Still will never explain why McDonalds shake enthusiast was some sort of crazy purple buttplug critter, appropriately named the grimace.

I watched a friend play this, he was amazing at it and got super far. One of Treasure's worst games, I must say.

I guess Birdie represents the entire breakfast menu in general. I don't know, really.

It just looked like the platforming was super difficult and annoying in the later levels, like the train and onward. Maybe I shoulda tried it out for myself. I had fun laughing at the horrible plot at least.

I just played this recently for a magazine article I'm working on. It's a rather smooth running platformer: nothing revolutionary and nothing that made me want to play it, but it was enjoyable enough for as long as I could stand it. I got as far as the first boss, who I could not for the life of me kill, and so I just gave up. Like I said, there was nothing really compelling about it but nothing really terrible either.
Now, M.C. Kids-- that was a great game.

The Grimace originally had six arms, so that he could hold six shakes at once. That doesn't address why he was purple and it doesn't explain his general body-type, but I believe the general idea was that the shakes were so good, you needed to have six of them.
On a completely random note, does anyone remember the Klasky-Csupo animated McDonald's videos? Those were much better then they had any right to be. Legend of Grimace Island would have actually been an alright video game.

Now I understand everything. The grimace had six arms. Cause that makes sense of the whole affair.

I think this title needs to be in the Virtual Console.

The grimace is creepy enough to disguise the fact that their mascot is a clown that likes to give children food.
