I already have an idea of what I want for Christmas, but just to make sure I don't forget I'm asking all of you what you think I should get for Wii, 360, PS2, and PC. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I was gonna ask the same thing. So far I'm going with Contra 4.

My parents got me Mass Effect, and possibly Guitar Hero 3 and Contra 4. I got them an Xbox last year!

Oh, I'm definitely getting The Orange Box for both PC and 360. I rented the 360 version, and TF2 is badass.

Mass Effect and The Orange Box.
Those are the only two you need.

For the love of everything that ever was and ever will be, do NOT get this game.
M&M's Kart Racing. I'd comment, but it speaks for itself really, so I'll just leave it with:
APPROACHING SOUND BARRIER.

Why did that guy keep nutting all over the course?
Don't forget the put Call Of Duty 4 on the list. That game was awesome. Though, the last level pissed me off to no end.
And, the multiplayer is a blast. Saturday, I held a LAN Party, and we played COD4 for 9 hours straight and had a blast.

Oh yeah....if you have Live and like it, Halo 3! I still play that a lot with friends on Live and at LAN's.

I'm getting my friend's copy of COD4 for $30, since he wants to sell it and get Mass Effect. He may be retarded for doing this, but I'm not going to tell him until AFTER I get the game.

The graphics look like they belong on an origional Xbox, and the character controls are slow and stiff. The enemies don't really react to gunfire or to being shot. Let me put it this way: In the beginning of the game you shoot mannequins as target practice. Well, shooting the actual enemies feels exactly the same way, except they move around. They don't even shout or yell at you! Ever!
Everything about this game is stiff, wooden and unsatisfying. And yes, it's exactly as gay as it sounds.

Any of you guys get Assassin's Creed? graphics looks sweet, and gameplay is very reminicent of Prince of Persia.

Every time I go to BlockBuster, every single copy is rented. The game does look enticing, but I hear the A.I. is a bit subpar. The main character has a "stealth" mode where he prays and looks like a monk. You can commit a murder pratcically in front of an ememy and then go into this mode, and they won't attack you.

And I heard that the assassination missions get real repetitive. A sandbox game w/out all the extras like GTA would have. Also, the story takes a weird stupid sci-fi turn somewhere down the line.
I also heard the game is very good, but only from 'gamers' who have done the 1st two missions and bought the game more than a week ago. So, take that as you will.

I have a friend who loves the game. At first he hated the "twist", but now recognizes how interesting the concept was. For one, he didn't hear there was even a twist (but that's kind of spoiled for everyone else out there), the second is that it gives the story of the game more depth than a "Prince of Persia" game. He also told me today he just likes playing the game to run around, jump off rooftops, and kill people. Just like evil Batman.
