playing on pc feels so much more fluid and right than it did on the 360. Anyone else playing this?

I tried it for a few minutes, but I am not fan of sci-fi fantasy shooters. I prefer real bullet firing weapons, to "PEW PEW PEW!" lasers. That, and right now, I am really hooked on Call Of Duty 4 on the PC. That is some friggin good fun, right there.

We talkin' Gears of War? Because if we are, I hated that game! Maybe the 360 version just sucked, but the ally AI is retarded, as well as the character's own. Half the time when I wanted him to hug a corner, he'd swat turn on it instead. Right into fire. Also, it's fairly short, generic storyline, etc.

Co-op campaign on a PC game? Sign me up. I can't get enough of co-op on the PC, what with it being as rare as it is besides in the realm of faggy MMO's.

to some degree I think 360 shoots themselves in the foot by offering everything they put on X-box 360 to for the most part also be on PC sometime after...
granted with a large enough gap before they put into onto pc they can still keep some buyers of the 360, and if they wait a really long time before they put halo 3 on the PC they'll still keep a lot of buyers, but they some amount due to the fact they're making many of their good games playable on PC as well.
But i can see if they do it right, have good enough time gaps, , and perhaps keep some 360 exsclusive, they won't lose too many system/360 game sales...

Well, it's the easiest ports in the world to do.
X360 has a PC processor and a PC Graphics ship, running a Microsoft OS.
Honestly, I think all they do is change the XBOX's boot file into an EXE and released it with a PC sticker attached.
It's extra money for little effort. Why not do it?

I think you have to look at it in a different way really. People work hard for money it seems...so why not make as much as you possibly can even if that means dissatisfying a particular group of people i.e. 360 owners about exclusive games. Who fucking cares if you have a game that's exclusive? If I was a game company I'd make ports on every system I could if I had a good game.

You mean like Call Of Duty 4?
It's on every system (PS3, X360, PC, PS2, Wii, PSP, DS) including Cell Phones.

Gears of War had lasers in it?
Gears was such a good game I'll probably buy it again on PC. I'm better with controller because of my hands but I bet it's nice on Mouse/Keyboard/Codpeice.

I didn't even go there.
It was obvious they hadn't played the game. Unless he was talking about the hammer of dawn...which didn't really fire lasers..
